Dukes at Queens Boutique Hotel

Overall the hotel was a pleasant experience for us. It is clean, well maintained, the room was everything we needed it to be and the staff were helpful. If you are driving though, parking is on the street, and it is situated near the university which is great, although i imagine parkjng could be difficult during peak hours. We also found the wifi coverage to be spotty (almost non existant in our room). On the plus, the attached pub is excellent and the location is great if you're looking to be close to the university, shopping, dining or downtown.

The property is in a good location however the concept of "free parking" nearby can be a misnomer. Since the property is in a good locality the parking can be an issue. The property doesnt have any dedicated parking or can help with any, its an on-road parking and if you are lucky, you'll find a place. Rooms are tidy and decently large and clean with all amenities as mentioned.

The Bedford is in a great location especially if you like to be close to city center, but not close enough for the noise. Parking is easy to find, however, although we were instructed to park anywhere on the toad, the neighbors must not have liked it because we got ticketed. The staff was wonderful, helpful and courteous. The hotel is run down, rooms dark and prison like, and breakfast greasy and unappetizing. Stay was overpriced for the quality.
