"Try your luck"

Ameristar is an ok casino to go and play at. It has 3 floors of combined older and newer slot machines plus tables and betting windows. It has a nice sports bar, buffet and hotel and even hotdog/ sandwich stand in the casino.

Great stop between Denver and Chicago. I like the Ameristar in Blackhawk, CO better. I love the sports bar there in Iowa, very good food and nice place. The casino is ok. The breakfast is ok. Needs a little over tender love and care…

The bed mattresses are shot, the HVAC noisy, but mostly the decor all over depressed me.

"Old smoker smell in room"

Layout of room

The room had a stay stale smell of smoke I understand you're now nonsmoking but I had the smoke odor when we walked in. Mentioned and was offered a air fresh spray treatment. By the middle of the night I was coughing and left in the am with a headache

"We went here to stay for our 14th wedding anniversary. We were able to have fun, but yeah, relaxing go at our own pace."

The only thing I didn’t like is they don’t have a gift shop
