Silver Sands Beach Hotel

I would like to say thank you to sraff who worked at s restaurant and who made our delitious food, to maids that cleaned our room, and spetial thanks to a lady from receptio Marijana for her kindness and useful tips

The bartenders was awesome, thank you guys. Food was delicious, I recommend this hotel if you are interested to go on holiday at Cyprus. PS: MAKIS and SEXY from pool bar We are sending u best regards, u know who write this up. THANK YOU FOR HOLIDAY!

Nice hotel near sea, good service, every evening have cool program,singers ,tribute show,guitar player) at Friday we saw some duo with 2 lady's 😄very funny and interesting show)))

Was worried coming here I'm not gonna lie after reading the reviews, but we had a great time, it's a 3 star hotel not a 4 or 5! Hotel was clean, yes the bathrooms could do with an upgrade but perfectly functional! The corridors also could do with a upgrade but we never had any issues (I've stayed in worse) Hotel staff (All) were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. We stayed half board and the food was absolutely fine no compliants at all, there is alot of places to eat on the strip if your fussy, Perfect location, steps to the beach and the main strip! Would i stay here again? Absolutely 100% please don't let the bad reviews put you off booking!!

Very nice hotel. House keeping a little slow. The bar has a great atmosphere when Max is working. He makes everyone feel at home, makes it feel like a family. The Silver Sands is in a perfect location in the middle of Protaras, especially as I’m a single traveller.

Rock solid 3 star, outstanding location, clean, efficient, friendly and hard working staff. Small lounge bar run by the magnificent Maki’s. Great value holiday. Small but comfortable rooms with safe, fridge and air con. Silver Sands excelled at being a 3 star sea front hotel so for that I would give it 5 stars. I would definitely return. The bathrooms and corridors were dated and should be updated. WiFi should be complimentary. We hired a car a parking was free of charge and plentiful. The area provides the best of both worlds as the strip offers variety of bars restaurants and entertainment whilst the beach front boasts a stunning beach and turquoise blue waters, lovely walks at all times of the day with excellent bars and eateries. We were B&B so can’t comment on the quality of the food beyond breakfast which was perfectly adequate. Great water sports available.

Lovely hotel friendly staff nice food

We had high expectations for our holiday to the Silver Sands Beach Hotel in 2024. We were so looking forward to the holiday. When we arrived the coach deposited our luggage at the top of the road without any consideration to the fact that we might have had a long journey and we were forced to carry our luggage down to the Hotel. The Silver Sands Hotel is basically a Youth hostel operation with food included. The rooms are basic and there was a insect in one of the drawers. The toilet was very difficult to flush as we thought the handle would fall off in our hands. The shower unit was the same and I broke a nail trying to move the mixer tap from the bath function to the shower function. The room was not fresh and felt dirty although cleaner's did make the beds and clean the room. Breakfast and supper was ok but the service was not great. We got the impression that certain staff were not interested in us ! We would not recommend anyone to stay at this particular hotel at all costs. Its a 1 star Hotel with basic amenities. We have stayed at numerous hotels in Cyprus and this was by far the worst hotel we have stayed in. Its so sad as the hotel is on the beach so the location is very good. This hotel needs a complete refurb to bring it up to a decent standard that someone would be happy to stay in.

Hotel is really well situated you are in the middle of everything, you walk out on the beach. The waiting staff were rude and didn’t engage with people , we asked for a fork and they said no and walked off. But on the flip side the bar waiters were so nice and polite. The food was poor and the selection wasn’t great but some of the combinations that they came up with were unusual and that’s being polite. the drinks are expensive there is a mobile bar next to the pool area so go and get your Sri ka from them. The rooms are dated the mattresses didn’t actually fit the bed , only one pillow that was as thick as a price of paper. Tv doesn’t actually have any English channels. Reception staff were polite . There are about 20 sun loungers that are cushioned and if you want one then expect to wake at 6.30am to get a chance of getting them, some of the loungers are ok but then ones near to the beach are not comfortable at all. Definitely go to Protaras but maybe look for another hotel

Staying at the the Silver Sands Hotel was a very pleasant experience, I stayed here with my family for 5 nights. It was a great deal for the money for family at a great location with really nice beaches nearby. I very much enjoyed the excellent quality service with my family - good selection of foods, nice swimming pool, gym facility, evening program, friendly staff, drinks at the bar where the bartender was very friendly even children liked him. The rooms were nice and clean. We had spectacular sea views. Overall experience was very satisfactory, I recommend Silver Sand Hotel to any family.
