We have been to Protarus many times but it is the first time we have stayed at Silver Sands Hotel. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The staff in all areas have been very attentative, in particular Arif and Lilia on reception, and the bar staff under the guidance of Marcus. We definitely will return for another holiday in the near future.

Entertainment schedule was spot on with a wide variety of things including ABBA, a guitarist and Harmony duo. Me and my friend loved watching it all in particular the ABBA girls were brilliant. Couldn’t fault the drinks and service either (the main barman is lovely and full of energy making sure everyone is happy) and perfect location of hotel for Protaras strip. Would highly recommend!

The best thing the TSOKKOS hotel chain did was change the hotel boss. We were here for the second time and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were painted . The entertainment program was better - saxophone, violin, ABBA, Harmony Duo.. There was a professional instructor for Aqua Gym and for Yoga, Pilates and Stretching (last year there was only pool exercise). New elevators, the hotel was cleaner. The logistics in the restaurant changed, the service staff of the restaurant changed, the food was tastier and more varied, desserts super, more fruits . The air conditioning in the outside part of the restaurant was fixed. The boss of the hotel was always among the people, every day we saw him and his staff working on details, improving the hotel (curtains on the loungers, tablecloths on the tables in the restaurant )...Silver Sands is a three star hotel (four star for me) with a perfect location on the beach with an amazing atmosphere, great people to keep you entertained and you won't be bored. The people at the reception are smiling and always helpful (Hi Lucy). The guys at the pool bar give it their all, trying to speak your language, joking and singing ( Costas, Nikki and others). Occasionally they pour everyone in and around the bar a special drink and when they do they all shout ,,YAMAS " (,,cheers ")! The king of the night bar is the unforgettable Makis, who will mix you the perfect drink and make everyone around you feel better. In the restaurant you will be served by smiling and helpful Bangladeshi guys who are not afraid to speak to you. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday, thanks for the show, thank you Natali for the exercise ... If you are looking for luxury, this is not the hotel for you, you need to pay more somewhere else...I believe I'll be back next year.

Location was fab, Makis in reception bar was a hoot, always friendly. 1st time in Cyprus and we loved it. Blonde lady on restaurant meet and greet did not speak or smile once the whole time we were there, don't think working with people is her vocation in life. Robert and Diane.x

I was lucky enough to go for nearly 3 weeks. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food was excellent, not repeats after a week or two. The staff were remarkable, even with our slight language barrier, most speak very good English. And we made ourselves understood regardless. Would I go again. ??? In a heart beat. Absolutely recommend this hotel.

really great rooms, view from there too, the nicest staff and barman :)) also the meals mostly were every day different (mexico, greece, chinese,..) the best memory you could have is from this hotel (even ur the most closest to the beach which is perfect)
