Silver Sands Beach Hotel

It’s not a good hotel. Rooms are not the picture on the website. The bathroom need a very big update and the room we had a smell very bad in the end we at to move. The staff are not very good they just messed about on 4 occasion we did not get asked if would like a drink with the food and we didn’t find anyone to ask and we were all inclusive.The cleanliness throughout the hotel was not at its best. The food was some times cold or look warm the carrots I do not think they have seen any water to be cooked in. Will not be going again and not recommending it to anyone.

Location perfect short walk to fig tree bay beach The hotel is clean , food lovely , bed was huge and very comfortable had a great side sea view room and all staff are very helpful and cheerful , special shout out to Mikela on reception who further brightened up our day every time we saw her , thanks for all your help and lovely chats lovely lady 💕 also a mention for Marcus who makes the best cocktails at the bar in reception . Entertainment was good we watched a young talented guy by the name of Ben White who is there every Tuesday , he was so very entertaining so we went to see him the following week and invited family who were staying elsewhere to come , they too had a wonderful time and were impressed with both hotel and Ben’s show Had a great 12 day stay and will be back Thanks again to all staff 🥰

I guess after 23 visits and wearing my fun badge, Head tourist CEO, with pride, speaks volumes of how happy I am to return time after time with my sister. Silver Sands is home from home and where staff have become family and other returning guests have become friends. It is noticeable that Silver Sands has many happy contented guests who return year after year. We have had 2 holidays in June and October this year and the hotel was even better. Magda is the excellent Reception manager, and her team including Mikela, Marianna and Marie are all very happy to help. The chef, Savos and his catering team provide excellent food and many choices to suit all kinds of tastes. Special mention to Wasim, Dipto, Yarif and Nikki and all the other restaurant and bar team who played a big part in making our holiday so happy and successful. The evening entertainment is brilliant with a variety of musicians and singers we especially enjoyed Ben and Alex. They are a great team of staff who make Silver Sands so special for us! 😎😎 Looking forward to being back again in June 2026.

Had a great stay at silver sands. Great location Large rooms Food was different every night Large choice at Breakfast. Pool was Large and not over crowded. Staff were helpful when needed. Looking forward to coming back next year.

I've been coming to Silver Sands over the past 8 years and always have a fabulous holiday. The location next to the beach and close to Fig Tree Bay is hard to beat. Fantastic sea view rooms. Excellent food choices and wonderful personal service. Magda and her team are amazingly accomodating and welcoming, we love chatting to them they are like family now. Savos and the catering team present a wide choice of food and theme nights to cater to all possible tastes. The restaurant team have ALL worked exceptionally well together this year on both our June and October holidays. The bar team are happy to serve and entertain us ....special mention to Ben White for his great show on both Tuesday nights we were there.....he is the best we've seen over many years. 3 star hotel but friendliness, location and service are 5 star. Very happy to recommend if you like a relaxed and friendly environment by the sea.

This was our second stay at Silver Sands. We had a front sea view room which was fabulous, apart from the TV which was average size, but with no English channels, not even BBC News! The food has improved greatly since our first stay two years ago. We noticed sunbed wars this year when there was none of that two years earlier. Also, alot of cups and straws discarded at tables. Why don't people take their rubbish with them. Silver Sands is in the perfect location with the beach at the front door and strip at the back. I'd advise booking a front sea view room or side view overlooking Fig Tree Bay. Mikela on reception is the most lovely and helpful lady.

Arrived fairly late and was quickly checked in. we ventured straight out as having visited Protaras many times the location of the hotel is situated in the middle of the strip so managed to get out grab some food and drinks before heading back. Room: was on 5th floor and the room decor was lovely. little wear and tear on the shower head but other then that it was spotless. we had a lovely brand new kettle..but sadly couldn't use as it had a 2 pin plug! did mention to reception but we didn't chase it up and never did get an adaptor. Our cleaner was lovely! sadly didn't get her name (young Asian girl) she gave fresh towels and loo roll top up every day. even on the day my partner was sick and couldn't clean the room she left us towels. some days she missed the hand towel but no biggie. left her 2/3 euros every other day ...they work so hard and she always had a smile. only 2 lifts that are slow and get busy at peak times such as mornings and sun down. Food; We were AL. had breakfast twice. Hot stuff medicore but what you would have expected from buffet. And yes you have the rotary toaster that takes an age..but would it be a buffet without one LOL. The other selections included your standard cereals yoghurt etc There was plenty of fresh fruit and a selection of nuts seeds and dried fruits too. Lunch was a fab selection of salads etc which was my go to and there was hot selections of both traditional Greek fare along with the chips /pizza for the "kids". Cannot comment on the evening meals as we went out. Location: as mentioned this hotel is situated in the middle of the main strip so perfect for the evenings out. the beach is opposite so you can dip in the sea and use the hotel loungers if you didn't want to purchase the beach beds (7.50E for 2 beds and an umbrella) they do offer towels but run out quickly so if you dont manage to nab one first thing you may have to wait til lunch. I didn't mind this so much as had my own and just kept one they gave me and swapped out as and when. Yes people where reserving prime spot beds which can be frustrating but there were plenty around. pool was nice and clean and mainly shallow. Staff; pool bar staff lovely and friendly always smiling. after a while they know your order so a nice touch. reception were also really helpful especially on check out where they store your bags if you have a late check out. you can pay to keep your room on (up to 80E to keep til 6pm) we opted for the comp room which actually turns out to be using the gym shower room you can book half hour at a time. did the job. Found all the staff welcoming. think you get the energy back that you put out! All in all for a 3* it was better then expected. Will definitely be booking up again as we had a fab time!

Well the location was absolutely perfect seafront around half way up the strip ...maybe a touch closer to the la pas end.....if u wanted a upgrade you can't do online but can ask at the hotel...rooms 504/502....the staff were brilliant as was the drinks. The food wasn't the greatest but certainly not the worst plenty of choice. There is only 2 lifts and as you can imagine get very busy at meal times All in all a very good 3 star hotel and would definitely visit again

Excellent hotel, right on the beach, large spacious room, very clean, we were half board so they let us swap lunch for dinner or vice versa. Buffet food was a different theme every night. Reception staff were very helpful, the only negative was the sunbed reserving situation but I suppose that is the normal. The hotel is slap bang in the middle of the strip so no trouble finding bars for evening entertainment, if live music is your thing then protaras is for you. The resort is very clean and very safe. Would highly recommend, we will be returning next year.

The hotel is fine for a 3 star hotel. The staff however are miserable and unpleasant, unhelpful and seem utterly fed up. Good luck getting beach towels which are in short supply. The roll-up smoking misery in charge of handing them out (or more accurately telling you there aren’t any) leads an obviously troubled life. The staff cleaning the rooms play their videos on their phones and did not muster one ‘good morning’ in my 10 days there. Depending on which side of the hotel your room is on, the noise from the entertainment is very much a part of your experience - like it or not. Someone in another room moves a chair and you’ll know about it. The acoustics in the rooms are terrible. Protaras is lovely and I had a great holiday, but not because of the hotel I stayed in - not at all. I’ll be back to Protaras but I will not be back to Silver Sands.
