Silver Sands Beach Hotel

Love this hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was good and staff went above and beyond to accommodate for my gluten allergy. Location is amazing not far from fig tree bay with the strip right behind the hotel. The pool area is nice and clean with loads of loungers available throughout the day (unless you go during peak season)

I recently visited this hotel reviews were excellent so this is why we chose it Where do I start Location is amazing , staff mostly are really lovely Housekeeping is very poor On arrival we thought room was clean we arrived late in evening We just left cases in our room and went for something to eat On returning empty cases Showered and got ready to get in bed time about 12.40 am On pulling back duvet the sheets were stained like blood I immediately rang the reception and spoke to female on front desk who said Well all the staff have gone home now To which I replied well somebody needs to find clean bedding and bring it up to our room 10/15 later a lady appeared with clean bedding which on one sheet was stained with looked like blood to which she replied we send bedding out to be cleaned but they can’t get stains out I said well if you can’t get stains out bedding should be disposed of Paying guest should not have to sleep on bedding like that Next morning bed stripped no stains on any of the bedding Also beds aren’t good quality and no mattress protector Sherts are see through no good quality And never tucked in Then we never really got the towels we needed always short either 1 bath towel 1 hand towel no bathmat On one occasion we only had 2 hand towels When queried got none left Come on this is an essential part of your services Then we didn’t get a pool towel for 2 days Same story The cleanliness of the rooms was below average Floors weren’t moped everyday My husband splilt coke on balcony it was 2 days before it was cleaned Food was average some nights it looked dry or very oily Breakfast and lunches were nice lovely salads Cakes were always lovely In the evening sometimes your meal would be finished before anybody came and asked you did you want a drink Entrainment was a bit rubbish But there is lots of entertainment on strip Would I recommend this hotel No way I’ve come to Cyprus for many years and always stayed in lovely hotels and I always look at reviews I know you can’t please everyone But good quality beds and bedding plenty of towels cleanliness, Good food will always get great reviews It’s a great shame really as the location is superb We spoke to a few guest said there rooms and bedding same I hope this helps people All in all we didn’t lets this spoil our holiday Will go back to Protaras but just never visit this hotel again

Bed was not changed the whole time we were there, some staff members rude, dodgy off the food

The hotel is in a fantastic location for the beach , water sports and all restaurants and souvenir shops etc. The swimming pool area is very clean and the bar staff by the pool are very friendly. For Breakfast there is a wide variety of food. However the staff hardly speak English and are not at all welcoming when you give them your room number . They just stare. Customer service in that area could improve. The lobby is very clean and inviting and the barman in the evening in the lobby is very friendly. The receptionists are okayish. English could be better. We did want to make a complaint about one of them but she refused to give us her name-didn’t matter as we have eyes. The lifts are very poor. For the size of the hotel they could be bigger or have more installed as you are waiting for a while. The rooms are ok however the cleaners were not great. The bed was made every day but on three occasions towels were not replaced or toilet roll so we had to request that. They were very kind to give my partner a bottle of wine for his birthday .

Our holiday was excellent. Everything was great. We had a great time there. One of receptionist- Miss Mikaela- helped me to find the medicine I needed. She brought me from her home. I took my medicine in time. I highly recommend you to stay at this hotel and Miss Mikaela is a great receptionist. Thank you ♥️

The most incredible 2 week holiday! Silver sands is an amazing hotel from the reception staff, bar staff, and the Maids all so friendly and up for having a laugh! Also we were half board and the food was unbelievable, it was various theme nights, we also had the option to change our dinner to lunch if we wanted to maybe head out for dinner (which again so many options near by). The pool area, if you wanted a bed round the pool I recommend getting up early but also plenty of beds down at the beach. Location is amazing so much to do round about. 100% recommend this hotel 🫶🏼

The location of the hotel was pretty decent, situated at one of the best beaches -- Vryssi Beach, Paralimni. Plenty of water sport activities. A variety of shops, bars, cafes right across the beach. Evenings will always be entertaining for sure. The food was delicious with a wide selection. The hostess at the restaurant Harjeet was a lovely lady -- welcoming and warm, always ready to assist. The only downsides are the WiFi and coffee options. WiFi was extremely slow, and the last rooms down the hallway did not have connection at all. If you wish to get a good signal, there's no choice but to go to the Reception floor. It is hard to find good coffee, even at the bar. Other than that, the experience was pleasantly memorable.

Location fantastic, room dirty!!4th floor, arrived it was dated which we didn't mind as we was told the higher levels were newly renovated, no one takes there cleaning tackle on holiday!! We had to stopped bed after 6 days to get changed, they never made it!! Bathroom dirty, balcony never cleaned in our 10 day stay, towels dis colour white that's if they leave any for you, floor was only brushed once in our stay, never mopped,we were staying here for our 35th wedding anniversary our son had called to let them know so they could put flowers and fizz for our arrival, they told our son it would be organised it wasn't!!! Lift doors close to fast and lift breaks down, no entertainment throughout the day, only water aerobic 11am for 30 minutes, no children pool, broken tiles around pool area which my husband nearly fall, food average, some staff good some ignorant!!! I have travelled a lot and many many places and don't normally do reviews but felt I needed to let poeple know, don't waste your hard earned money on this hotel, was looking forward to our anniversary but this hotel was very very disappointing!!!

We have just got back the food I have to say was the only thing that was amazing , we found most staff were rude either that or none English speaking , we were 3 adults in a room was awful cramped , but we managed , The big down fall was the room was not cleaned daily we cleaned our bits and left traps to see if was done , the toilet is by the pool or on lower ground minus level basement Considering this is a huge hotel with 6 floors if your elderly wat meets you is a overwhelming odour or urine / poo , The mop they use is used in restaurants and pool side loo , The pool was not cleaned while we were there in two weeks The grout it black and green algae It also has awful stairs if you cannot get in It’s like a ladder so I was unable to use the pool as there is only one due to my mobility issues Shame as this could be a loverly place It just needs more attention It’s set in the ideal setting But you spend most of the day waiting for 2 lifts to go up and down My first trip to Cyprus The entertainment was awful 45 mins each night The only one which was great is a saxophone player , A guartrist played one night Beatles Awful ABBA like squealed cats Shocking go the love boat And other bars The corner steak house was amazing and the trips were great to If you watch George on u tube he fall of lies

I booked this holiday for myself I stayed from August30th till 9th September!!! All I have to stay absolutely fantastic very friendly staff and no matter how busy they are always got time to deal with any query’s or questions or even for a friendly chat. Good was amazing very highly recommend I was in half board but paid for the extra food for my lunch as it was that delicious!! Stayed in room 528 but very clean hotel rooms clean daily with fresh towels also you can get beach towels for the sunbeds by the pool daily. Pool bar during the day good environment and people and lobby Bar with Makis absolutely recommend you have. Drink at the bar with him very good sense of humour and fun nights drinking if you like too that it’s. I’m already planning to come back next year but absolutely 1 of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Cyprus.
