Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos, Ramada All-Inclusive Resort

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was small, but adequate for our needs and all we did was sleep there. The bed was comfortable and the water for the shower was hot, two big bonuses! The hotel was a bit dated, and when asked if we wanted to be in the adults only part (up the hill) or down by the beach, I chose beach. This turned out to be the wrong choice, as there was music and noise from the snack bar area until late at night. We had fun joining and the convenience in accessing the beach was nice, but in hindsight I would have chosen the other building. The food and drinks were mediocre, but town is easily walkable and very affordable. We did great shopping and visit an excellent panderia close by. Bring cash with you, as none of the atms within walking distance were working, and cash is preferred in this town.

This is always our first choice!! MY husband( Vincente has many favorite staff) We are always so warmly welcomed with hugs and happy smiles. From Manuel, Miguel, and Lupeo at the bell boy station to Jesi and Cristina at front desk, Jordi, Jose, Martin the waiters, Flora the most amazing omlette maker ever, and Carlos and Patsy the bartenders!! This place is like a home away from home for us!! If you are looking for 5 star accomodation don't bother, but 5 star relationships with staff here is priceless. We've literally been here over 50 times in 20 years. This time my best friend came with me, in her words" I will definitely come back here,it's so safe and the staff are amazing". The food is very good with good variety, nothing is disappointing.

Good food and nice beach

Don't know where to start this gong show ? We booked sunning and got swoop so you know we got screwed to start with for the price that was paid insane not one of these Mexican places are worth what they want now . We paid extra so we didn't have to spend 3 hours trying to get there on the new pay road unbelievable what these clowns pay to drive you down a turkey trail to get there , Cuts hours off to think these travel companies would know that ? Now lefts start with the place 80 percent under construction they new this before people booked. Not like we haven't been there a few times . Real nicee eating in the snack bar so hot can't even breathe and the wind socks trying to hold onto you food even worse at night . Breakfast was always good the rest not sure why they think reheated MACARONI is supper come people really 2 bucks going to break this place not even that good. Then they shut are pool down for 8 days up top do you not have slow time to start this ? Then they start changing doors on the r9om down by the ocean blowing saw dust on everyone below and shut the pool down really? Smashing the walls out of the main building around the main dinning room so we can eat dust holy ? Top bar was disgusting asked if could clean the tables same crap from the night before split all over guess the bar maid was to busy on their phones all the time just handed us paper towel to clean guess she was on the holiday not the rest of us . Guess it to bad the guy that owed it before died because was a nice place at one time.. Changing for towels that are stained washed ares out guess asking to much for that to. PEOPLE SAVE YOUR MONEY ALL 3 OF THOSE PLACES ARE A JOKE THATS FROM TALKING TO EVERYONE THAT STAYED AT THEM. OVER PRICED AND PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN GOING FOR 16 YEARS ARE NEVER GOING BACKED ABSOLUTE RIP OFF l don't complain much think its time to avoid Mexican places for awhile way over priced for what you get now and what to base on USA money maybe time rethink that to. By the way sunwing didn't send enough vans to pick us all up image that hope the rest made there planes back .Shame on you westjet you took over the other 2. Then drove us back on the turkey trail .

I had fun with my family. Service was always amazing. Internet wasn’t working though, but overall the atmosphere was very lively. They had multiple bars close to where I was staying. Staff was very friendly and knew how to keep their visitors entertained.

Great stay here! The buffet style food was good, reasonable hours everything was close by. Staff is friendly and so kind! I loved the events, games and activities they have. My family and I had a great time here, would 100% recommend. We will stay here again!

3rd time to this fantastic resort that’s as authentic Mexico you can’t get. If you’re looking for luxury, 5 star, white counters resort this is not the place for you. This is all about experiencing Mexican food, culture, and the people. Staff are all incredible, the beach is by far the best beach in all of Mexico and I’ve been to both Caribbean side and Pacific side.

Do not go to this resort! IT has a problem with sewer gases in the rooms and the food in this facility is very poor quality and unsafe to eat. Their kitchen has lots of stainless steel but NO proper lighting. If you are English speaking it is very difficult to communicate with most of the staff. There are not many bartenders who can not make proper drinks. We found that the bartenders were mostly untrained and had to resort to a manual to make a custom drink. Even the famous Mexican margarita was not up to par. Being that this resort was on the coast one would expect great fresh seafood dishes. NOT! We were very very disappointed and have notified the owners but they have refused to even respond to our concerns. This has been a lesson learned and a lot of dollars spent for nothing but sickness and despair. Save yourself some money and stay healthy on your travels and do not even consider this place. One positive note is that the people who work there are very polite but have their hands tied we think as their boss hasn't trained them properly.

Happy and colorful place. Long sandy beach for walking, foot soaking. Very friendly staff. Perfect temperature, I love the sea breeze. Pleasing setting. I like the authentic Mexican accents and architecture and landscaping. Food is good and there is enough selection.

Hi this is our 8th visit since 2008 nice to see a couple of the staff still there buffet was good every night we ate at La baba it was awesome my wife has shell fish allergies no problem the wait staff helped her flora the omlet person was awesome drinks were great always found chairs on the beach they renovated tropical restaurant while we were there the bricks by building 4 pool need to be repaired and at the front door of tropical which was blocked off for safety we had a great time and will return
