For those familiar with a US Motel 6 or Super 8, this was a large step down. The room was a motel room (exterior door. The window was frosted so it was like a cave. Had it not been frosted the view would have been of the detached breakfast area. We left after one night. I paid for two nights but it was so bad we couldn’t stay

Hotel Au calme tout en étant proche du centre. Stationnement gratuit juste devant. Petit déjeuner correct. Dommage que le wifi soit défaillant.

Hôtel très bien situé, calme tout en étant proche à pied du centre. Très grand parking en face de l'hôtel, exception faite du mercredi soir car marché le jeudi matin

Dated property, old but in fairly good shape through maintenance. Room was quite small, virtually no storage or ability to spread out. One chair, but got another. Small desk. Bathroom sink needs a new, higher, faucet that also extends past the stopper lever and you can get your hands under to wash. Nice breakfast spread for 12 e per person. Owner/staff very helpful, with some English.

Great hotel slightly away from medieval centre of chinon but with parking and easy walking of city centre restaurants.

The hotel was located very close to train station and right in the middle of the city, Chinon. The staff very friendly and the rooms were very clean. I wish it had elevators, otherwise it was an excellent choice. It provided breakfast at 11 Euro per person but it was well worth it.
