It was a one night stay enroute

The breakfast is delicious. The only thing I did not like is that,the shower head is just a handheld shower, it is not attached like a regular rain showers type thing. It's annoying, but unfortunately very common in Europe, so it's not an issue exclusively to this hotel.

Can't fault the location, ate at the sister restaurant next door - excellent. Hotel in need of update, hairdryer did not work nor plug socket in bathroom.

The room was dark, but the bathroom was large and clean. The location is a bit away from the action of town. The free parking across the street is good.

Staff great. Lots of fun. Interesting room, love the lobby.

We had a lovely time unfortunately the hotel is in a rather tired state especially the room. It was very shabby and lacking comfort. The bathroom although clean had a bath with hand held shower which made showering very difficult and there was no shower curtain so the floor flooded if you used the shower. The bath mat wasn't changed despite getting very wet and dirty.

We, including our dog!, were made to feel so welcome, the staff couldn't have done more, our room was spotless and to finish, our breakfast was excellent, the location couldn't have been better, close to the center of the town and sightseeing We were only able to stay for one night but came away feeling we had spent much longer. We will definitely be booking a weekend away there again.

We ended up with a lovely clean room with a great matress and good bathroom. The first room we were offered was on a top floor with no lift and the room was like an attic with a slit for a window...maybe fine for a younger couple but we are 70...with- it and Happening ...I asked if there was another room and she directed us to a motel like room overlooking a roof and then when I asked if that was all she said there was one we would not like facing the front that was just one flight up...we looked at it and it was lovely ,.....why did she hold this room back? We booked a long time ago and for 2 nights....the first 2 rooms were unacceptable!

Overnight stay on our journey south. Enjoyed our stay at this hotel and was perfect for our needs. Beds very comfortable and aircon in rooms was a real bonus. Delightful breakfast in lovely breakfast room. Staff helpful & would stay again.
