Pimalai Resort And Spa

We stayed here 3 nights in a hilltop villa. It was absolutely stunning !! Exceptionally clean and large with super comfortable beds and your own private pool. Two terraces to relax on and a gorgeous large lounge and the most stunning views. Breakfast was always fresh and plentiful and all the staff at this resort are so friendly and helpful !! I live in Dubai where I see luxury on a daily basis but this resort takes luxury to a whole new level. If you are looking for a very quiet, private place to relax then this is your resort !!

Greetings Brice, I wanted to reach out to you and let you know what a wonderful time we had visiting Pimalai Resort. After returning from a previous visit we hoped we would recapture the wonder of Pimalai we experienced the first time. We exceedingly were overwhelmed with what we found! Pimalai matured into the timeless beauty any-one would wish for when returning to a magical place once remembered. The natural beauty and timeless design and architecture of Pimalai has stood the test of time and has become an expression of calm and beauty. You have maintained and nourished the Resort to become, in our minds, one of the most beautiful resorts in our world. Attention to every detail in our villa elevates this space into the most transformative accommodations anyone would ever desire. The design, fabrics and lighting took us away to another world of relaxation and amazement. The service received from Pimalai team members was genuine and thoughtful. From breakfast to dinner we felt we were considered family, being taken care of to ensure we experienced the warmth of their personality and hospitality. There are places we go that we know won't be the last.... And at PIMALAI everything is done with excellence, friendliness, incredible insolvency..... This is without a doubt one of the hotels where we truly feel at home, and literally in this as in other places, we are greeted with a "welcome home"! Nothing like excellence in every detail...

Just a fabulous stay from day one. Great considerate staff who are always helpful and friendly. Lovely quiet room and we loved the whole experience. Would highly recommend and will be back.

Amazing experience! The property is exceptionally well maintained, with thoughtful landscaping and an exotic atmosphere. The staff is attentive and friendly, with service often exceeding expectations. The room is spacious and clean with a beautiful sea as well as a garden view. Two swimming pools are peaceful with stunning ocean views. Restaurants offer special events daily like hot pot dinner, steak & wine nights, etc. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. The spa is super nice as well, with their exotic atmosphere and skilled therapists. Pimalai Resort and Spa is one of the best places to stay in Thailand. I strongly recommend this tropical paradise to couples, family as well as honeymooner. You won't be disappointed.

Truly a beautiful 5 star hotel our hillside villa was spectacular the service at this hotel is exceptional.the views from our villa was magical .the staff and management are the best we have ever experienced. We loved this so much we rebooked two days after returning to the uk for the same magical holiday all over again next year the reason being the staff at this resort and location are simply the best,😀😀

Only hotel we have ever returned and stayed twice. This hotel is amazing and easily the most enjoyable, luxurious hotel we have ever stayed in, so much so we returned. The food and beverages are superb we ate in all the restaurants. The room we had was fabulous a view of the sea. For the first time ever I used hotel spa facilities. We do a lot of walking and my poor feet get hammered so I booked in for a pedicure (to be honest I was a little embarrassed the state my feet were in) the therapist didn’t even flicker, it was an hour that I would, with no hesitation book to go back. As for the hotel in general, no hesitation in recommending a wonderful peaceful oasis with the almost amazing food.

Loved it even when it rained (cos we went monsune season idk any spelling) everyone was so nice but what was really annoying is that not many tourists had any respect for any of the staff. Lots of nearby restaurants that are wayyy cheaper than the hotels restaurants so I advise you eat out every night

The resort is built into the hillside, in an underdeveloped part of Thailand and surrounded by lush tropical rainforest - so if you don't like - 1 - Monkeys 2 - Walking up/down hills (though there is a buggy service) 3 - Monitor lizards on your lawn 4 - Other creepy crawlies 5- Not perfect local infrastructure 6 - Peace and quiet 7- Needing to learn a little Thai This resort is not for you! - it's Thailand of 15/20 years ago (i'm reliably informed) - not anything like Phuket. If you do, then you're in for a real treat. The resort is showing a little wear and tear in places, but the sheer beauty of the surrounding and peaceful natural surrounding of the rainforest more than makes up for that and then some. Coupled with the great service, the attention to detail and genuine warmth, welcome from the the start, from all, made our stay very memorable. The only grips I had were - 1. the cost of trips from the hotel as well as food and drink - trips can booked in the 'village' nearby and the local restaurants on the whole are very good and less than a 1/6th in cost. 2. and whilst not the hotels fault in any way - i suggested in my direct feedback that the hotel could put out/ supply litter bags - I love the ocean and it was sad for me personally to see the plastic washed up on the beach after a storm (not huge amounts by the way), but I resorted to picking litter up in the mornings as we had a beachside villa. Hopefully the management will provide bags these in future.....when we will return! ps try hiring a car - Koh Lanta has so much to offer and the scenery is very 'big' Lastly - Walks in the rainforest are also definitely worth doing - some small snakes about and spiders - note there aren't Black mambas in Thailand as a previous review mentioned - they're in Africa!

Pimalai is a beautiful and peaceful resort with fantastic scenery on Koh Lanta. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The top 2 restaurants of Koh Lanta are in the Pimalai resort and are truly wonderful. Great food, excellent wine list, and many themed dinners during the week. The hotel staff is great and made sure we, and especially our kids, felt very welcome. We stayed in one of the double room beach villas with a private pool. The location is perfect and our kids enjoyed all the animals that came to visit. That's one of the best things about Thailand: the natural beauty and wildlife (all perfectly safe). The scenery is absolutely stunning, doing an aperitivo at the bar next to Seven Seas restaurant, and seeing the sunset is one of a kind.
