Haijun Hotel

It is was nice trip to China but the hotel missed up my mind

My room was very Small and not big window, try to change my flight to come back early the expedia customer service put me more then one hour in hold by phone, I bought 100$ insurance for my fight, first they said pay 300$ to change your flight than asked after one hours which they put me on hold, they said 1800$ for changing your flight. Which I bought it for 600$ from deferent airlines. For changing hotel room they asked more money too.

Location is good. Room is clean. Housekeeping is good. Front Desk receptionist not very helpful. Was not told toiletries inside bathroom need to be paid if we use it.

No currency exchange facilities Breakfast cannot be billed to room, no cards, cash only.

It is good but getting at Beijing Lu station is a bit far, duan yi da guang chang station but the only thing there is no elevator if you get out from Exit D.

Great location, 800m away from train station. Easy to get Taxi. Everything is fine except the room toilet is too small, no hot water, water pipe failed.

What amaze me is that the toiletries need to be paid for if you use it (RMB5.00). While most of the hotels provide it f.o.c, this somehow put me off, because this hotel is not branded under "low cost hotel". Breakfast is the same throughout my stay, nothing new. The front counter staff don't seem to be very happy, as they seldom wear a smile on their face. One morning, I went to the lobby early to wait for my friends. While I wish to ask if I can have the morning paper to read, one of the staff told me they don't have any newspaper. I saw one on their counter. I know that could have belongs to someone, I am ok for that, but in the service line, she can actually answered "I'm sorry sir, we don't have newspaper here for our guest", with a smile, of course. However, one of the front counter staff offer to help us call a cab when we check out. This should be commended for.

Stayed for 2 days and this is the second time. The staffs were helpful and warm. Room was spacious enough for two persons and equips with the amenities of a 3 stars accommodation. The room was warm despite the a/c was set at below 20 C and high fan speed, therefore maintenance is needed. One thing I love about Bai Ling is the picture-perfect of river view at night with the colorful ferries and building along the riverside. Another plus is, this hotel can tolerate with patron keeping cartons of stock in the hotel room or doing repacking in front of the hotel entrance unlike other hotel in Guangzhou.

small bathroom, shampoo you have to pay for it. Breakfast nothing on breakfast accept coffee and toast. Room never clean I have to tell them to change all dirty staff on my bed!!!
