Plenty of shops nearby and river side view is not bad. Free wifi in room.

Simple hotel. Dont expect much, no room service, not even a bar of soap to wash your hands in the rooms washroom. Please come with your own toiletries. Convenient location though, to pearl river, beijing road shopping and night clubs..

Clean, city view rooms quiet, and precisely what I expected. I read the reviews, and brought my own soap, and didn't expect a great deal of service or level of amenities. You get what you pay for. I stayed for 5 nights in two different rooms. I preferred the city view room as it was quieter. Ask for the highest floor possible. Staff was helpful, even if English is weak. There is a Seven Eleven a couple of blacks away, along with excellent street food options in the general area. This was my third trip to GZ. Definitely would return.

The staff was able to talk english (kind of) which was nice, but I didn't like that they only give a very small thing for soap/shampoo on the first day which is used in half a shower, and they don't give new ones.. also, they charge you if you use it, which I think it stupid. Other than that, we were moved to a different room because the one we booked 2 weeks in advance was already taken, and they wanted to move us to a different room again the following day, or force us to pay more to stay in the same room we were in.

Staff was great, rooms were clean daily, but the carpet had stains everywhere and covering large areas. Afraid of caughting something, went to Marriott and had a great vacation.

Its great for the price. Location is close to restaurants, clubs. 2nd time there and would go again. Only problem is everything you use in the room you are charged extra, even the soap which is a pity, I wish they would just bump the price a bit and give out free soap and shampoo instead of charging for it. Overall, its ok for a 3 star hotel, dont expect luxary, price is great for location.

I went to meet my friend for 1 week in guangzhou. The hotel was very well located on the river front. access to taxis, buses and the subway line 2 was 5 minutes away. The breakfast was good but very chinese. There was however toast and coffee on offer. There are many bars and some restaurants in the area. Also some of the river cruises start near by. I went on the night cruise which is worth going on at least once

Simple and Clean Hotel. The reception staffs were very cheerful and helpful. There was atleast one person at all times who spoke English. I ended up extending my stay for another 4 days.

This is the second time staying there and it's my go-to place in GZ. The staff spoke great english and were very professional. The room was clean as always and the breakfast was about as good as the really high-end hotels in bigger cities I've stayed in. It's a great location and great for shopping and nearby food as well as transportation. Where else can you stay with a great view of the river, internet, and breakfast for that price. i'm a big fan of this hotel.
