Grand Hotel Dream Frankfurt City

This was a good hotel - reasonably priced and comfortable. The buffet breakfast provided a good selection of food. We were disappointed that we were not allowed to move tables together to accomodate our party of six for breakfast.

The Dream Hotel is a great deal, good price, the rooms are larger than typical hotel rooms in this price range. 2 blocks from the S-bahn metro. The breakfast is a good variety, typical European breakfast. The staff is always friendly.

location, location, location. Very short walk to subway-bus station. Shopping and many attractions w/in walking distance. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean, but the a/c didnt cool as much as we would have liked. Somewhat ethnic neighborhood, but we felt safe walking. Breakfast buffet was extremely generous with hot and cold dishes.

The hotel was spotless clean and well kept and met my expectation. The staff also was nice and easy to deal with. It is very close to the main shopping street and also a short walk to the Christmas market during the holiday season. The only complaints were the free internet was intermittent. Would work for 20 minutes and then down 10 through the 2 days of my stay it did this consistently. Only two English TV channels, CNN and BBC news.

For the price, this was an excellent hotel. The room was considerably larger than the average Frankfurt hotel room in this price range. The provided breakfast was typical in a pleasant room. Breakfast and reception service was friendly. A block away from the Konstablerwache S-Bahn station makes it easy to reach from the airport. Pedestrian / shopping mall is righ there too, and close to other tourist sites.

Hotel is relatively new & well kept. Wide choice for breakfast incl. rice, pastas hot dishes and cold cuts, cereals, fruits,etc. Reception staff very freindly & helpfull. Hotel located some distance from subway station so if you have heavy luggage like us, not easy to drag your bags thru the pavements to hotel. Not ideal location if you're attending EXPO but great if you like shopping.

Hotel was nice, clean, good value. A little hard to find and a bit out of the way. If it's your first time to Frankfurt, it might be a challenge. Otherwise a good pick.

Great location but was terribly dissapointed with the lack of services at the hotel. For instance, there isn't a same day laundry service, the front desk advised that 3 days are required to return laundry. There are only two new service channels in english, no in-house movies and the room service menu is sparse and available in German only. Lots of improvement necessary for this hotel to live up to it's 4 star rating!

This hotel is one block away from a major underground train station and convenient to multiple venues. The terrific Frankfurt Zoo is a few black away to the east and to the west a few block away is the hugh shopping district. Old Towne is an easy and enjoyable walk/ All-in-all, a great location to see much of frankfurt. The hotel was clean, the rooms were comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly, and breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices..hot and cold.

After the previous review, wasn't expecting much. I found the hotel a bit hard to find, as it was in a street that didnt seem to be present on certain maps. We should've printed the map! Checkin was a breeze. No problems! Room was really clean. Safe was handy. Breakfast was standard. Not something to boast about, but your average fare, sausages, eggs, yoghurt etc. Nothing to write home about, but anything less would raise eyebrows. Location - GREAT. I loved the nightlife around there. A market was present in the square on Thursdays, 2 minutes away. Supermarkets all around. Cafes, restaurants at night, just minutes away. I was a bit scared of the internet not working. The cable connection did not work, but the wireless connection worked well. One negative would be the spruiking of the airport service. They charged a reasonable exorbitant price to the airport early in the morning when we were able to catch the train from the train station (2 minutes away) for like a tenth of the price. With the location, the cleanliness of the rooms and the nice service, this hotel is a hidden gem.
