Grand Hotel Dream Frankfurt City

Functional and cost effective. Nothing wrong with the place at all, unless you're looking for cocktail bars and underground discos!! Clean and polite.

The hotel was very convenient. Very close to the airport link and the main shopping area. Room was very spaciousness with a great bathroom. The immediate area around the hotel would not suit all I would definitely consider this hotel again

The staff was friendly, the location was good, the hotel is reasonably priced for what they offer. I did not appreciate however that the internet access was censored, some web sites blocked. Very surprising in a country like Germany. So if you want a hotel and don't care if safe search is turned on to kindergarten level, this is a good choice.

Overall, I was pretty happy with my stay. The hotel itself was nice - the room had an upscale look to it, nice TV, decently comfortable bed, etc. I thought the location was great - just a quick walk to public transportation and most of the tourist sites, shopping, dining and the river. Supposedly the neighborhood to one side of the hotel isn't the greatest, but I didn't encounter anything bad or unsafe-feeling during my stay. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of variety of both hot and cold foods. My only issue with my stay would have been that the walls seemed a bit thin. As I was going to bed I could hear doors closing, toilets flushing and I could faintly here the sound of a TV. I thought the overall value was good, given the quality of the hotel and the location.

The rate of the hotel is 4 star and in my oppinion does not reach 3 stars The location is very in a bad and dirty niebourhood

We had a few days to spare in Frankfurt.. Randomly picked this based on reviews, so here is mine... Great shopping and trains with in a 5 minute walk.. 10 minute walk to river and old cafes and churches. My only negative is that the front door seemed to be in an alley way, at the same time that had no traffic. if you are the type of person to stand out in front of your hotel for more then the amount of time it takes to check in, you may not like the alley way! I dont usually spend much time in front of my hotels.. great place, nice gym very clean.. great breakfast! Good Value! worth it!
