Grand Hotel Dream Frankfurt City

This hotel was clean, the staff helpful and efficient. Location was convenient and safe. The internet was slow and some sites were blocked. The air conditioning was poor. Overall a good, solid place to stay!

Overall just fine. The hotel is 1 block south of what I would call a good location. We felt safe enough walking to and from but it is not the same nice neighbor hood you find North of Zeil.

Location was great ----- just walking distance to the Zeil shopping street. Hotel management was friendly and accommodative ..... with complimentary wifi/internet service provided throughout the 2 nights of our stay. Only disappointment was the need to move room after discovering that the jacuzzi-type shower could only deliver hot water. Nevertheless, the response from the hotel housekeeping was fast and the decision was made quite quickly as well as offering some helping hands to transfer our stuff.

I loved my stay in Grand Hotel Dream.

We arrived at the hotel at 7am due to our flight arrival time. They were very generous and let us in the room even though check-in time was not until later that afternoon. They did make a point to let us know that we were not permitted to have the breakfast that was currently being served. The twin beds pushed together to make a queen were not particularly comfortable. The twins were sheeted separately, so there was a defined crack in the middle of the bed. The mattresses were also quite dense so not a great night's sleep. We were also told that we were not permitted any additional towels which was a little harsh. Once we were allowed to eat the breakfast we found it good with lots of variety. The location at first felt a little industrial, but it was fine enough to be within walking distance to wherever we wanted to go.

3 min walking distance to Zeil shopping street and U & S bahns. Clean rooms and comfortable.

This hotel was ok. We liked the secure parking, air conditioning and staff. It was close enough to walk to the sights we wanted to see. We foud the bed quite hard and the decore was dated, but the hotel was fine for a quick stay.
