Excellent accommodations very pleasant and helpful staff

Had a lovely 1 night stay in a very large room located in a block behind the leisure centre. Staff were friendly. Would stay again.

We stayed for one night with a dog and had a very spacious room that met all our needs. The pool and sauna were a nice treat. We ate at the hotel in the evening and the the bar and restaurant staff were brilliant; professional, courteous and fun. The food was lovely. Would use Foxfields again if we were in the area.

Internally the property was well maintained however the patio outside needed a sprucing up and the drains needed attention as there was a lot of rain during our stay and the gutters etc obviously needed a good clean out.

I dont want to post this. Because i dont want the rates to go up. This place is a godsend. Balconies overlooking lawns. Huge rooms with seperate lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Clean. Great staff. Excellent location. Such a find i walked in and booked a 2nd night. Fabulous location. Privatley owned as i found out when checking out. It deserves support. I have added to my faves. Such a great area. Near lakes, rivers, cute villiages and close enough to do anything. Didnt try the restaurant or breakfast but this hotel seems focussed on good honest value. I travel with work all the time. This is my new favourite. It has space. It has access to outdoors. Its very good value. Please dont put your prices up!

The room was very old-fashioned and the carpet didn’t seem very clean.

The reception on arrival was very friendly and efficient. I was kindly given an upgrade of room, which is always a pleasure to receive. The only slight down side of the visit was a small sewerage odour in the bathroom, but nothing to make me want to change the room. The evening meal there was also very good, both with service, presentation and taste. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel was lovely and my room (suite) was very spacious, clean and well presented. Staff were helpful and I managed to get a late meal on arrival which was excellent. Only disappontment was I booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool and I wanted to unwind after a long car journey. I arrived later than expected due to a 2 hr diversion and receptionist told me pool was closing in 15 mins, but I discovered the next morning that it was open for a further 45 mins, so I would have been able to use the pool after all. However, I would use this hotel again, as it also had a lovely roof terrance ba and good restaurant.

Good stay, hotel quite busy which in some respects is good news. From a COVID considerations there has been a significant relaxation in the hotel controls. Personally I think it has gone too far and should be tightened back again
