Foxfields Country Hotel

Everything was great, lovely room, evening meal, breakfast, value for money!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Massive room with very comfortable bed. Restaurant was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Beautiful location with great swimming pool. Definitely coming back next time I am in the area. Thank you for a fantastic stay

As good as the staff were at rectifying issues, our stay was disappointing. We were given a room that hadn’t be prepared in time, a new room that had unlocked patio doors and the swimming pool changing rooms were filthy. The staff are brilliant but the hotel needs an urgent facelift given the cost of staying.

The accommodation was spacious and good value for money. It provided an excellent base for our visits to old friends in the Lancashire region.

Our daughters wedding was held here. We cannot thank the staff enough. Tbey were so attentive and helpful. Thank you so much

Excellent stay, large family room with separate bedroom, friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant attached.

The size of the rooms was fantastic for a family of 4 and more than enough room for a travel cot, hotel was nice and quiet decor in the room was quirky and the beds were very comfortable with lovely bed linen

Friendly welcome, room clean & comfy Does need up dating but great size room with all you could ask for. Only down side we had trouble getting into the hotel when we came home from a night out, door locked & no one answered the phone number, which was very annoying as we were left standing in the rain ! Got it sorted but pushing the door very hard, to move the catch, which we should not have had to do. Not sure what would have happened if we did not manage this. If they did not hear the phone then maybe l a bell would have been better, should not rely on guest having a mobile with them. Or change so your room key can let you in the main entrance too

The bedrooms were very spacious and the dining area was very modern and well laid out. However the breakfast was expensive and very unimaginative. I would have expected fresh fruit salad, not tinned fruit.
