"Loving the Aloft properties"

A great property with a very cool interior decor and not that far out of downtown Chicago. Very friendly staff and a large open area / bar that was welcoming. The room was cozy and provided a comfortable nights sleep. It is close to a shopping center w/ dining options if you don't want to grab some food from the in house restaurant. I continue to be impressed w/ the Aloft properties for their location, cleanliness, amenities and decor and this one definitely checks all the boxes.

No maid service, loud guests in the hallways at night, $50 for two drinks in the hotel bar. Ridiculous. As a former platinum Marriott member, this property should not be associated with the Marriott brand.
