Hilltop Manor Bed and Breakfast

The accommodations were excellent. Our suite was spacious, the bathroom large, and having a fridge was most helpful. The grounds are spacious and we enjoyed eating our picnic lunch on the back patio. The young woman April who served breakfast was pleasant and made sure we had tasty vegetarian dishes. So, why not five stars? We always choose a B&B above a hotel where possible as we value the personal touch over the impersonality of most hotels. This B&B was a striking exception. We didn't mind not having anyone greet us on arrival. The instructions were very clear as to how to find our room. But during our entire four-night stay, we never encountered the innkeeper Meenu or the owner Harry. This is the first time this has happened to us in over 30 years of staying at inns. There was no-one to ask questions about restaurants or hiking trails or indeed anything else that was pertinent to our stay. Questions such as these were not in the purview of April, who was in any case fully occupied in both preparing and serving breakfast. The option to text the faceless innkeeper or owner was not attractive to us. In sum, it felt as if this inn was an inn in name only, without the personal touch that should be the signature of an establishment like this.

Beautiful property with beautiful surroundings. Comfortable place with well-kept rooms and public areas and beautiful landscaping to view from the front porch during breakfast. The breakfasts are fresh, delicious and varied (Thank you April). The biggest, best shower ever in our room! This is a contactless check-in and on sight help, though we were able to get immediate answers for any questions we had by texting. Highly recommend. Would be a 4.99 if possible since there are no luggage racks. NOT a huge deal. Coffee, drinks and snacks are also available, and parking is perfect.

Concerned, Harry's wonderfully exquisite property is going to be managed like an impersonal hotel with contactless check-in, written instructions, texting for questions or assistance, and questionable safety. No welcome, help with luggage, or any conversation until a delightful April served us a delicious breakfast. Our room key was left in a public area. For these reasons, I rate 4 of 5.

This is a really pretty bed and breakfast. The bed was very comfortable, and the Rose suite was a very nice size. I like that it had a private bathroom, and the tub was not out in the room. The location was great. We stayed for three nights and all three breakfasts we had were delicious. The grounds were very pretty. This was a great location just minutes from the Historic downtown area.

We had the most amazing experience and can not explain how wonderful Meenu was. The place is very welcoming, intimate and peaceful. My fiancé, (now husband!) and I went to the hilltop manor to get married and Meenu along with her staff went above and beyond to make this the most special experience for us. We will never forget to what extent they went to make our wedding so wonderful. Meenu married us under the moonlight and captured every moment so we will always have pictures of that very special day. We highly recommend choosing this place for your very own special occasion and will be back for anniversaries for years to come! The Askins

Beautiful B&B on beautiful grounds! The Inn is just a few miles away from the downtown area, yet it was far enough away for peace and quiet. The entire atmosphere was peaceful and restful. There was plenty of room for my wife and I to find a quiet secluded spot to share a bottle of wine and conversation. Our room and the entire facility was very clean, and our bed was comfortable. Check in and check out was a breeze, and the breakfasts were really good! Very friendly staff, very peaceful stay! Our first time in Hot Springs for the weekend but definitely not our last. No question, we're staying at Hilltop Manor when we return!
