Shocking! Not allowed to use the facilities because we checked out, even tho we had stayed there for a wedding. I have no idea what difference it would have made for two people to use the pool. The room was also cheaper the evening before as most the guest took advantage of. Poor all round

A welcome retreat in a cold winters night.

Arrived 9.30pm on a Friday night, to welcoming, helpful staff, swiftly arranged with the kitchen staff to offer us the full evening menu! Lovely food and service was excellent, Looking for to staying again!

Breakfast was poor accompanied by poor service so very disappointing...most people drink orange juice so we only have one jug of orange juice so it gets exhausted quickly why not have 2 jugs and make sure there are plenty of glasses . There are plenty of staff but no direction .Go and have breakfast at Cwmbran Parkway and learn the lessons. vacuuming the bar at 11 o clock with people still in there is not good customer service .The team of staff appear to have no leadership Rooms are substandard for a 4 star hotel .No water in them, poor shower, heating temperamental Could be so much better with just a little effort !

Didn't like cooked breakfast, first one under cooked second time over cooked

Excellent facilities and amenities. Evening meal was excellent but the breakfast was very poor, overcooked and undercooked, food was Luke warm, not very appertizing.

stayed to attend a wedding, never know a hotel with a wedding on have such low staff numbers to cope with guest numbers. 1 staff member on serving breakfast for all guests, as the room for the wedding party guests to eat together wasn't set up. No fridge in the room, uncomfortable bed and as for the mould around the bath.. Not what you expect given the cost of a room never mind the suite I paid for

On arrival car park was extremely overcrowded, poor light made it difficult to park in the evening. When arrived to our room, the room telephone was not working so we had to go back to the bar after a 3 hour drive to order food. The room looked tired, mold on the ceiling above the window, paint peeling off on the ceiling above the bed and bathroom had a musky smell. As we regular travel and stay at hotels I would say that this was of poor standard for the price and will not be recommending it again.

Lovely overnight stay.. Polite waiter.. Polite reception staff.. Room was huge with beautiful views..

Very nice place - Location is good and the meals were fantastic.
