Super friendly staff, very accommodating.. breakfast was great thanks to (Chris Grant) awesome attitude and up beat personality and attention to details when preparing food.. love that the beds are located in separate area with its own door we can close off.. rooms could use little upgrading on certain parts but all and all it a great place to stay..

The hotel is great but we only stay at the hotel for the cook Chris Grant he is the most nicest and spunky and just over all amazing person he makes sure all his guest that come in to eat gets what they want even if it’s almost time for breakfast is over.

Judy the front desk clerk was great took care of all my needs made our stay pleasurable gave me coupons for a pizza place. Stayed in the penthouse suite beautiful view. Just had a slight issue in the penthouse suite. Other than that our stay was great. Free breakfast was great the cheese Eggs and the home potatoes were the star of the show! The family working the breakfast area were all phenomenal 🙌.

Breakfast was the pinnacle of every day at this hotel. Chris and Vickie made it an amazing upbeat experience everyday. They checked in on us at our table every morning and would bring fresh food out to guests as it was done. They went above and beyond to make sure all guests were having a great experience on vacation. Cheesy eggs were top notch. I would rate the experience alone based on breakfast as 5 out of 5 stars. Amazing. I wish there was a Chris and Vickie at every restaurant I've ever been too. As far as the rooms.... Our first room the balcony door was stuck. Would not open. Was then moved to another room where the balcony door did indeed open. But it did not lock! Luckily we were high up and had children old enough to know to not go out there alone. We did bring our own lock to put under the door knob. As we always do this on vacation anyway. I guess we should be thankful we got a room at all around check in time. There were multiple families on the same day who didn't get rooms until well after 6 pm. The parking garage is an absolute nightmare. The spaces are so small and other guests are so rude about parking. Had a woman scream at me and call me a dumb b***h for parking to close to her car. Well.... The spots are small and there is nowhere else to park. 🤷‍♀️ One of the two elevators was down the entire week we were there. On multiple occasions it took around 20 minutes to even get on an elevator bc they were all full. Then it would stop on every single floor (bc only one elevator was functioning) which added more time to every outing. The showers are slick and water pressure is not great. But I would like to reiterate that BREAKFAST SERVICE IS FANTASTIC!!!!! Probably the nicest employees in the entire building.

We stayed here two nights last week, and like many others have mentioned, the rooms are clean and roomy, but dated, and our door to the balcony overlooking the ocean was rusty. Per management, renovations will begin in the fall which will make it even nicer. The free breakfasts with the singing chef were outstanding. The hotel is situated about midway on the 40 block boardwalk, and there was a different band playing in the the park next door in the early evening both nights. The day we checked in we waited until around 5:00 to get our room because they had been slammed with a full house of soccer tournament kids the night before, and the biggest problem for housekeeping was vacuuming up all the sand in the rooms. Ryan was by himself at the front desk because someone had called in sick and somehow he was able to keep calm with many irate customers who wanted to check in right away giving him a hard time. He did his best and kept his cool - hats off to Ryan!! We look forward to returning again next year. My one complaint is that there are no restrooms in the lobby - the front desk gives you a pass card to take the elevator up to the fourth floor, and it is a very long walk once you get off the elevator to get to the bathroom - maybe this is done on purpose to keep those coming off the beach out of the lobby area? Overall, a great bargain for an outstanding location.
