"Lovely facility - fabulous breakfast included."

10.0

Hotel was clean, and nicely furnished. Bakery was wonderful --- but the breakfast that was included with stay was absolutely outstanding. We would definitely stay again if ever in area and will recommend to friends. Thank you.

"Nice stay"

8.0

We came to the hotel late in the night and it was a little struggle to find the hotel and the hotel parking lot partly because of the bad cellular coverage in the area. Getting into the room, we were very pleasantly surprised! The room and all interior were in great and clean condition. And the breakfast was great too! Very happy with the stay. Jack

"Utilitarian clean suite 15 min drive to Bar Harbor"

6.0

This property is just 5 Jr. Suites located up over a bakery. It is comfortable, very functional, quiet and very clean but it has zero character and is a good 15 minute drive over to Bar Harbour. It is a suite so light housekeeping is possible and there is a laundry set on the floor with the rooms. The morning breakfast in the downstairs restaurant is excellent and is included. The wireless is so weak it does not work either in the rooms or the restaurant and staff could not help. Our door was so sticky my wife could not open it. Parking is on the street or around back in an open area.Prices in the Bar Harbor area are crazy so you might want to select this property as it is very competitively priced. Personally I would not stay here again but would pay a bit more and get something closer to Bar Harbour and something that did not resemble a college dorm suite - very functional but not very interesting.

"Meh"

6.0

Good: There is a coin-op washing machine and dryer down the hall ($1 each), and with only 5 rooms it was easy to do laundry. The room was very clean and neat and had a nice bathroom. Breakfast is included and is good for a free breakfast. The bakery and attached restaurant are serviceable, if not distinguished. The town is sweet, very small, and close to Acadia. Same price but better than Kimball Terrace down the road. Bad: Very cramped . The "living area" was no more than a wide hallway with a couch on one side and a TV on the other. The room seemed painted by numbers to check off the Pros listed above. Also, we were unable to connect to both the hotel and the attached restaurant's WiFi networks with our smartphones and new computers. The food was pretty disappointing, and the town is so small that there are few options.

"Ok suite - clean but a bit tired "

6.0

Large suite with separate bedroom and living room. Furniture tired and the setting was a little institutional for my liking. Avoid the restaurant which serves average food in a not comfortable environment.

Stayed here one night with our 2 daughters (9 & 13). Very friendly and efficient staff, the restaurant was great and the included breakfast was one of the best we have had!

"Great hotel in a very, very quite town"

The town is very, very quite. Very. The hotel is lovely, very clean and very well maintained. The stuff is very helpful and it is fun to have a bakery and restaurant downstairs.

"Excellent"

8.0

The room was nice. Very quaint. The only thing that would be helpful is better signage showing where to park and how to get to your room. Also, I think the staff that checked us out were new, so some more training would be beneficial.

"Beautiful room."

8.0

It was a bit confusing during check in as to where to park and how to enter the building. We were told to park around back and go up the stairs. Where was the back and what stairs? We asked a random young man and he led us all the way back to the front of the building and yes there were stairs, but there were also back stairs right from the parking lot. (They looked like they went to the restaurant so we didn't use them the first time) WIFI was a problem. We were given the wrong password and the right one took a couple of hours to connect and even then it was spotty. The breakfast was very good and the bakery right downstairs was excellent. It was easy enough to get to Bar Harbor, a pretty 10 minute drive.

"Great value"

8.0

Can't beat the price, was impressed with the cleanliness and size of the suite. Breakfast included with price and the options were full meals (not a continental breakfast of cereal and yogurt!), only downfall was that breakfast wasn't open until 8, as it is part of the restaurant/bakery, which meant we usually weren't heading out for our day in the park until closer to 9. All things considered, though, not a deal-breaker. Not a bad drive to Bar Harbor, and nice shops there on the small quiet street surrounding the hotel. Friendly staff and enjoyed a lunch and dinner at the restaurant too. Would recommend others to stay here.
