Excellent hotel. 2nd time there with family. Always fullfilling the expectations. Cyprus is great place to go and have great vacation.

Stayed here for 9 nights with my husband and 3 children (ages 15, 13 and 10). This is one of the best all inclusive hotels we have stayed in. Top points are 1. Great food variety (different themes each evening) snack bar by the pool also very good. 2. Great selection of cocktails and other drinks included in all inclusive. 3. Bar and restaurant staff are fantastic. They are so genuine and friendly. 4. Animation staff do a great job but not too intense if you don't want to get involved. 5. Adult only pool area is lovely although this wasn't something we could use. 6. Room size for a family of 5 with two teenagers bigger than me was Great. 7. Excellent location in the centre of Protaras but when in the hotel you didn't feel in middle of the strip. 8. It was my husband's birthday and we were surprised to find a birthday cake in our room which was a lovely gesture. Overall would highly recommend to families and couples. We stayed here with our family and really enjoyed it.We picked the hotel just because of the good reviews ,and it turned out to be a great choice. The location is super convenient , right in the center of Protaras. Everything is nearby ,beach, restaurants, shops , so you can walk everywhere. The food was good, especially breakfast. We always looked forward to it in the morning. Staff were very kind and helpful always smiling, which was nice. I also went to the spa with my daughter, we had a massage and it was actually one of the best we ever had. At the end they gave us some herbal tea, small thing but it made the whole experience feel special. We had a really good time and felt relaxed after the trip. Definitely want to come back next year.

We’ve just returned from 10 nights at the Vangelis Hotel and Suites and it didn’t disappoint. Perfect location down the Protaras strip. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach opposite the hotel or a 10 minute walk to fig tree bay. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, were always happy and smiley. You could genuinely tell they loved their jobs. Alex in the main restaurant was fantastic and a breath of fresh air seeing him everyday so happy and getting a long well with his staff. The bar staff were excellent and even did us ‘surprise’ cocktails when we fancied something different. There were plenty of drinks to chose from and there wasn’t any ‘single or double’ like in the uk. It was more half spirit, half mixer. We weren’t complaining🤣 The food was great. It was a little repetitive some evenings and the ‘themed’ nights weren’t what we expected but the quality of the food was 10/10. Everything was always hot and cooked to perfection. The roast duck was my personal favourite😍 You get one sitting in the Al Carte restaurant during your stay. We absolutely loved it! It’s honestly some of the best food we’ve eaten and wanted to go back to eat again. Treated like royalty and the food was delicious! There is a ‘snack bar’ which is also a little repetitive but we didn’t mind. Our rooms were ok. Just enough for what we needed. We had 1 suite and 1 double room (because this was all that was left when we booked). I wouldn’t say the suite was anything special at all. We had the suite and it was a bath with a shower (nothing Luxurious about it) and my parents had a double room which had a walk in shower in it… that part didn’t make sense to me. I wouldn’t recommend upgrading for the time you spend in the room. One of the only things I would say we weren’t happy with was the cleanliness of our room. The cleaners were very ‘hit and miss’. They didn’t empty the bins everyday. One day I accidentally left an empty cup on my bedside table, it was left there for 2 days. The floor in the bathroom was filthy too. My parents had the same experience. There sink wasn’t cleaned the whole time we were there… my mum cleaned it herself! The pool areas were lovely. We spent everyday apart from one round the adults only pool. The main pool was extremely full and very lively and had a nice vibe to it but as 4 adults we just preferred the over 18 pool. We were encouraged by reception to adhere to their rules of no reserving sun beds. We had a little card given to us on arrival that explained about the lifeguards removing the towels and guests having to fetch them from him. We adhered to this for the first 4 days of our holiday but were left without sunbeds after breakfast as no one was listening to the rules and was reserving them every morning. Unfortunately we had no choice but to do the same. Every morning at 7.30am we had to get up to get the sunbeds. This was extremely annoying as we wanted to relax on our holiday! The other thing I would say that let the hotel down a bit was the activities/entertainment. There were activities throughout the day which were displayed on the boards in the hotel and the app but the entertainers never came round the pool to tell people what was on/encourage them to go. This is the first time I have experienced this as usually they are very encouraging. The evening entertainment wasn’t great either, it was often running late and some of the acts were the same as down the strip. It didn’t bother us too much as we were happy to go out on an evening and then spend some time in the hotel lobby playing cards. Overall we had an absolutely amazing time at the Vangelis hotel. Met some lovely people and staff and would 100% return.

Everything was perfect The hotel was very clean, as were the rooms. The food was excellent. The pool was a bit busy, but that's not the case on holiday. Excellent location, close to the city, 3 minutes across the road to the beach.

This was our third visit to this hotel. Always have a good holiday here the food is not to my pallet but having been twice before this did not stop me booking all inclusive for a third time. Staff are fabulous at this hotel. The hotel position is great being right in the middle of the strip. We personally loved the adult only pool and this is one of the reasons we keep coming back - have nothing against children in fact I love to see them enjoy themselves - but we have been there done that so the adult pool is just fab for us. I don’t know if they have changed the drinks but I did find this year I did not like most of them - this was my only critique. Would I come back for a fourth visit - yes I would- this is a good hotel

I went with my family for the second time and once again it was an awesome experience. There was a good variety of food at every meal with a seemingly endless dessert table. The staff was great, always smiling and greeting you good morning/afternoon, both at the resturant and in the pool bars. They even took care to memorize certain drink orders we made. But for me the star of this trip would be the animation team who led activies for everyone both during the day and in the evening. They were fun, caring and great with both kids and teens. We could always talk with them about everything from the activities (of which we joined almost every single one), school or inside jokes. They even went above and beyond for my birthday, giving me congratulations, gifts and an anouncement on stage in the evening. I can't praise them enough. They were the most special part of our trip, and at the end of our two week stay they really felt like friends.

Amazing hotel from arrival at reception. Staff very helpful and room was very spacious and clean. We didn't get tea as we was on a late flight however they left us sandwiches in the hotel room. The pool is a great size with the added adults only pool which is worth a visit. The food is 7/10 purely just because after a week I was tired of eating buffet food but variety is good and themed food nights helped. There is no pool side towel.wars which help as towels are removed if there all day unoccupied. Overall the hotel was spot on, definitely stay again, on the strip too which helps. Big mention to service manager alex , he couldn't do enough for people.

Absolutely loved staying at this hotel really clean and friendly the food was beautiful different selections, pools amazing all staff lovely, the only thing I'd say is better entertainment
