Vangelis Hotel & Suites

Great hotel and family resort, very clean and the staff will bend over backwards for you very friendly. Always plenty of beds to sit out and take in that sun. It's very close to the beach and the night life bars and restaurants. Best holiday I have been on up to now. Go on one of the boat trips to swim with tourtiles it was fantastic and a great experience it won't disappoint.

Great location. Staff are exceptional, all very helpful and very friendly. We had 2 x suites and these are a great size. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy your holiday. The a la carte restaurant is a must, the food was lovely.

The hotel is a perfect place for a quiet and relaxing holiday. It is a lively place with a sufficient offer of animation programs, but at the same time there is no unnecessary noise and you can find places of complete peace. The pools are clean, the chemical treatment is adequate. The dining room is perfectly organized and everyone can choose, including children. In addition to the main meals, there is a snack bar. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, not everyone has a clothes dryer on the balcony and it is windy here, it is good to have a clothesline and pegs with you. Cleaning is regular and thorough, overall we were very satisfied, there is nothing to complain about, thank you for the care you took of us during our stay at your hotel.

I loved every thing in this hotel it was amazing just a small problem with the room in the picture shown jn Expedia the room looks bigger But we loved the entertainment team they were amazing very good location breakfast was repetitive but it was good the location was good cc

Amazing 10 days at the Vangelis Hotel. Room very smart and comfortable, spacious and very clean. Had very fussy eaters with us and had no problems finding them loads to eat every day. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner quality was excellent, staff polite and hardworking. Always found us a large family table within minutes. Adults only pool was brilliant, not one occasion did we see any children in this pool and always sunbeds whatever time of day you went. Snack bar by pool was superb, plenty of chips, pizza, sandwiches and burgers. Tried the spa a couple of times and such a relaxing experience. Hotel 5 minutes walk to best beach I've ever been on, gorgeous sand and crystal clear sea. Boys played tennis ever night before our evening walk down the town to watch Micheal Jackson, Freddie Mercury, and Bon Jovi amongst others. Town very busy but great atmosphere, no trouble and felt very safe. Overall an amazing holiday, already booking again for next year.

Excellent location, right in the middle of the strip. Room was nice and modern. Hotel is well looked after. Restaurant is organised really well for an all inclusive, you are seated by host. Staff are very efficient, your drinks order taken straight away, plates cleared quickly. The sunbeds were a problem, in our 5 day stay we never got a sunbed which meant we left the hotel all day every day and didn’t get value for money with the all inclusive. They have a rule of no reserving beds before 9am but by the time we had breakfast all the beds were gone. Same with the entertainment on a night, not enough tables and seats meaning people were sitting on sunbeds to watch. Amenities don’t cater for the hotel size.

I spent with my family beautiful holiday in great Vangelis hotel. Sevices were on the top level, all the staff was very kindful, helpful and always meet requirements. Especially receptionist guy Dheeraj gaves us advices and always solved our requests. Food was very tasty and every day was another cuisine. During the week you could attend some sport or another courses which were part of programme, including entertainment for evenings. We have a lot of good memories. I can recommend this hotel.

Great food in the restaurant and staff were friendly. Swimming pools amazing and enjoyed the music playing in the bar by the pool during the day. Pool bar great and hotel very clean everywhere and well maintained. We would recommend this hotel and would go again. Evening entertainment was family friendly and children and adults enjoyed the entertainment. Thank you for making this holiday great and enjoyable. It’s one to remember! 😀

Lovely hotel in an amazing and popular location All staff 10/10, throughout the hotel were so kind, helpful and friendly and always made us feel welcome, a big shout out to Aldren and the female head waitress whose name i cannot remember who helped us sit in our favourite seats and were always chatting to us. It was also nice to see all staff getting to be on the door and greeting customers. Food 2/5- Food choices were limited and dishes were mis matched and did not go together. No cooked veg on an evening and lunch time no cold meats to have a sandwich. Meat dishes were very fatty and gristle and some had bones. The theme nights do not work or match the themes. The puddings however, were exceptional and very tasty in their own little dishes. Entertainment 4/5 It was average but as a family it would be ideal. They did kids disco every night and we did do any of the day entertainment so can't comment. The Lobby bar could do with more staff because it was the only one for drinks in an evening. Rooms/cleanliness 2.5/5 Room was ideal size for a couple, however, the cleaner was not good , makes left all of the time. Rashing on toilet roll, bed sheets not changed regularly. Coffee sachets not changed much . But the end of our second week the cleaner changed and it was perfect. The door was very temperamental and often took a few attempts to open. We were in block A and the noise of other rooms was worse than the strip with them banging their doors for hours at a time. Pool I will rate the pools separately Family /everyone pool 2/5- So many sunbeds reserved and by the same families, we used this pool for the first day and then the over 18 pool. And sadly the ones reserving the sunbeds were from the UK. The groups mocked someone doing the towel reserving at 6.30am and yet they confirmed they went out at 7am!!! Just as bad. Tip for the family pool if you like the sun try and get a bed on the side with the lifeguard station. The hotel states no sunbeds to be reserved but they rarely take action. The lifeguard would remove the odd one but leave big groups. Over 18 pool 5/5 Amazing and so peaceful , the pools were just the correct temperature and not over crowded. There were some under 18 around this pool but they did not cause any issues. The snack bar is so handy and has plenty of choice throughout the day. Towels can be changed on a mon, wed and Fri. A tip go early morning or late afternoon due to them running out quite quickly. Spa - 2/5 I opted for two treatments and it wasn't relaxing and the time was cut short. Quite expensive for what you get and they couldn't take cash but charge to tbe room and then I paid cash at reception. One floor away?? Shower room.5/5 We did expend the room but only till mkd afternoon but had use of the ftee shower room. I would advise booking 9 it is cleaned in between each guest. Location 5/5 Ideal in the middle of protatus strip, we went for a walk most evenings. Along the strip and you are so close to fig tree and there is a lovely walk along the sea front. The beach is across the road and down by a hotel and the sea is crystal .. amazing and im a pool person. Public buses run to Ayia Napa for 2 euro the 102 going and the 101 coming back and you can also get a day return. Ayia Napa has a lovely sculpture outdoor park. We went on a day trip to blue lagoon and the caves, this was amazing and the weather was superb. We also went on a TUI Famagusta, this highlighted the tragic events of 1974.
