Vangelis Hotel & Suites

Very good food, alot of options, especially if you’re a healthminded person, nice roomcleaning, the foodstaff was exceptional, as was the staff for drinks, energetic and fun, very nice and welcoming. The cleaninglady was nice and respectable. The only staff which none of the seven people liked were the ladies in the reception. Very rude tone, not saying ”Hello, how can i help you?” But instead saying ”are you going to say something or what?” Aswell as not being very helpful with how the pooltowel works and other stuff. They did not care to explain very much, however the male receptionists were professional. The stay was good, but all of our family (all adults) had similar experiences with the women receptionists. As could the ”entertainment” part be a bit more inclusive and more personell at the entertainment parts. Pool was nice.

The hotel is beautiful and the beds are so comfortable. I have not been in such a comfortable hotel bed for as long as I can remember. The food at the buffet was pretty good with quite a bit of variety. The maitre d' was very professional and friendly and fixed a small issue with swiftness and class. The adult pool was very nice and even when busy it was very calm. The pool bar staff were very friendly too.

This hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are amazing! We were with our four children and they all loved it! The rooms are spacious and stylish, the food is superb and the location near the strip is so handy. Our 8 year old twins absolutely loved the kids’ club and the mini disco. Big thanks to Anastasia and Lili for the wonderful children’s entertainment! We all had a fantastic, relaxing holiday in this beautiful resort!

All the hotel services were very good. We enjoyed every day in this place. The staff was very kind and all the additional requests were resolved immediately. The food was very good and varied and the room was amazing. Dheeraj was very kind to us when we needed a late check out.We will for shore recommend this place.

We had a memorable week at Vangelis Hotel & Suites in Protaras. The property lives up to its reputation—a bold food selection, spotless pools, spacious modern rooms, and a prime location close to shops and beaches. Dheeraj, the receptionist, greeted us with genuine warmth from day one. He escorted us through check‑in efficiently, answered questions clearly, and gave brilliant guidance on local spots. His friendliness really made us feel welcome. Alex, the service manager, elevated our stay. He checked in to ensure everything was perfect. The all-inclusive dining was top-notch in terms of quality and variety, especially the desserts and snacks. Pools were pristine; the adult-only area was a bonus for some quiet time. Thank you to Dheeraj, Alex, and the entire team for making our stay truly enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

We definitely have had some issues during our stay but I wanted to be completely honest with this review and not deny the many plus points about this hotel Location is absolutely perfect, right on the main strip so close to so many bars, restaurants, shops and walking distance to the beach The hotel itself is beautiful. The lobby is gorgeous and very stylish. We got the one bedroom suite for myself, my husband and 2 teenage kids. The room was so nice, really good size and overlooking the pool with some sea views, couldn't fault it. The lounge area of our room had two separate sofa beds for the kids which were spot on. Bedding for those was very thin although I'm sure the staff would provide extra duvets if needed. Our daughter requires daily medication that needs to be kept in the fridge, the fridge area got very hot but the maintenance staff came up very quickly to help fix it for us Unfortunately my husband got sick after we had eaten in the buffet and ended up on an IV drip whilst we were on holiday. We did bring it to the hotel's attention of course and unfortunately we have had to log a complaint directly with the travel company we booked through Another family we had got talking to whilst away said they too had been unwell and they had spoken to a few other guests that were also not feeling well, apparently one young boy had spent a few days in hospital. We keep hearing that this is still ongoing and more people are becoming unwell and more ambulances appearing at reception. Although there are many people who are fine, the rest of us were the unlucky ones. We didn't go back to the buffet after that and had to go out for food every day. I have seen so many good reviews about the food, but we just couldn't see it ourselves, choices were not great and I'm not generally a fussy eater Pool is great, very big. We did look at the adult only pool and wow I wish we could have stayed around that pool! So quiet and calm and always plenty of sunbeds. The quieter snack bar area is really nice, and has free food although I'm not sure why the pool bar has some of the same food but you had to pay for it. Staff are all lovely, all very friendly All in all as I said I wanted to be honest, so many good things about this place. I just hope they are seriously looking into this issue to ensure no one else becomes unwell as my husbands sickness certainly wasn't an isolated event

A very nice, fresh, and centrally located hotel. We had the all-inclusive package, and the variety of food was great. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful.A special thanks for opening the (quiet indoor) spa pool to children — my son absolutely loved the calm atmosphere and even enjoyed the cold water!A few suggestions for improvement:Consider designating a smoking area away from the kids' pool for a more family-friendly environment.It would also be helpful to discourage eating ice cream inside the kids' pool area to keep it clean and safe.Overall, a wonderful stay — thank you!

The hotel is excellent, everyone is very kind. They really try to help. And the spa is perfect! Everything we asked for, we were a large group and they took care of everything for every choice and selection, we were all inclusive, the kids didn't stop snacking all the time and we drank and ate - amazing and the location is great right on the promenade, I had a massage at the spa, amazing. An hour at a completely reasonable price,

We were a group of 11 (3 families) celebrating some special birthdays and we really enjoyed our stay at the Vangelis. Staff were all so friendly, we loved the entertainment which speaks volumes when even the teenagers enjoyed! The scents in the reception area are so lovely and a nice cool place to relax. We loved the refreshing spa pool as a break from the sun. We had a suite with sea view and really enjoyed people watching on the strip (good sound proofing as didn’t hear the noise when sleeping). Food was really good with lots of choice and the A la carte option was a hit with all. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to go to the shops or down to the beach. I really liked that the no reserving sunbeds before 9am was enforced meaning most people got beds and didn’t need to get up at silly o’clock. One thing I would have enjoyed would be a swim before 9am as pool opens then and all the kids get in but I usually like to start the holiday day with a nice quiet early morning swim. One other point could be to allow a la carte once per week of stay instead of only once. Really fab hotel though and would stay again.
