HL Club Playa Blanca Hotel

Just back from a fantastic week in playa blanca, as a family of 5 with two children aged 7 and 13 we would it highly recommend it, the animation team were fantastic entertaining us from morning to night, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the bungalows were spotless and very well maintained we would 100% come back again!

Location - the hotel is located in a good place. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Atmosphere- the hotel has a great family atmosphere and the staff are attentive and friendly. Entertainment team are spot on, no one feels bored. Bar staff are amazing and the drinks are good. Rooms- are basic but clean, lovely little bungalow style with a patio area. Noise level is moderate. Value- great value for money

Just approaching the end of a week holiday at HL Club Playa Blanca. We were here with our preschooler. Prior to the holiday I was really worried after reading loads of negative reviews. I wish I'd not read any. I've given this hotel 4/5 because I don't think any hotel can be perfect. We have stayed in other all inclusive's and half and full boards and would rate this one just as well as the others. Food was plentiful with loads of choice. The kitchen staff are there, cooking a few things from scratch, cleaning, replenishing, removing used dishes. The restaurant was really clean and modern. They have tried to cater for everyone, which allows those who are fussy to just eat the normal beige food and those that like more flavour.. meat, vegetables, salads, to have them. Themed nights made it really interesting and we looked forward to every meal. My impression is that because they are trying to please everyone, they are offering too much choice and this leads to wastage and having to reuse food... Which is normal for these hotels. Spanish night and Latin American were brilliant. Indian food could have been a bit spicier. We didn't really go to the entertainment.. tried one night but was very loud, and not really our thing. Pool really nice. One was slightly heated which took the chill out of the water which was pleasant on a hot day. Happy with the drinks at the pool bar. Garden surrounds were beautiful and well maintained. Cats were not intrusive and nice to see. Rooms are large, we slept well. They could be upgraded but I think that would push the cost of the holiday up. Small playpark was useful but could also be updated. But plenty of play parks within walking distance. You have to weigh it all up and consider what you are paying for your holiday. We were very happy and felt this was good value for money.

Nice hotel. Lovely staff. Spacious two bed bungalow had everything we needed. A bit dated but everything was in working order. You have to pay to the use the room safe which I haven't come across before. Lovely pool area. As other reviews have mentioned the food lets this hotel down. Plenty of choice but either cold or lukewarm at best. The exception were the pizzas which were really good when hot out of the oven.

Great entertainers, beautiful setting. The entertainers really make it a great place.
