HL Club Playa Blanca Hotel

Fab place great staff entertainmet staff 10 out 10 weather not great but the staff made it a holiday to remember

Pool area was great. Gym amazing. Food just OK.

The Bungalows were dated and cleaning was very bad.

Great family resort. Good entertainment day and night. Very good location walking distance to coast. Really loved the bungalows, lots of space.

Everything you need from a family holiday. Close to the main Playa Blanca coast and staff who are very fun.

Couple in their seventies. Landed at 12:30pm from Newcastle and warned of big queues through customs. There are three checks to complete now plus stamping passport total time to baggage 10 minutes which was a relief, Came to the hotel with an open mind due to past poor reviews, well booking in was great excellent staff on desk pointed to the restaurant before it shuts at 3:00pm. We found all the food stations plentiful and topped up regular all restaurant staff working hard, no issues with quality of food, and there was microwave on hand ,2 minutes and plate piping hot, good choice of dishes so no-one should do without. In the main entertainment room kids disco/show from 8:30 then entertainment from 9:15pm not the best and mainly quizzes bingo all week Drinks were in glass which was good, cocktails there are only 4 to choose from all premade in jugs but plenty of spirits and mixers own brands There is a lounge area which seems popular for the adult crowd Now be warned it is a family hotel throughout and I mean families kids, kids and more kids, ideal for families as they are entertained all day. But if coming as a couple should be prepared for the noise and be child friendly if not book an adult hotel!!! Out at pool plenty of loungers to pick from no rush for towels out , families around the edge of pool area but loungers set up a level which is quiet. Plenty of loungers at 1.00pm. In the snack bar area on friday, barbecue set up for lunch. Good choice of meats and salads. We were in a one bedroom bungalow row 7, long walk to the pool, met our needs but cleaning was a miss mash, most days only bin emptied and towels changed, beds never made, floors washed once on day 6. There is a shop on site selling basic needs, if using a card minimum spend of 6 euros plus a lot of products not priced water was 1.5 euros for a large bottle. No other shops in the area, Overall the hotel did meet our needs great staff in all departments, all friendly no issues, the hotel is geared up for children so would be ideal for families of all ages for a cheap break away.

Great atmosphere for kids, excellent with the children in kids club and at night time for the mini discos. Highly recommend.

La localisation

Le lit est fait mais les draps ne sont pas changé, la restauration moyen et tres bruyant dans la salle avec de la musique forte en plus des clients qui parle très fort, le personnel se jette sur vous pour enlever très rapidement votre assiette.Le club enfant très simple et les parents doivent quand meme rester présent pas loin car tout le monde entre et sort comme ils veulent. Manque parfois des boissons dans la journée.

Amazing hotel. Great food and drink. Would definitely recommend the pizza from the pool bar, freshly made and cooked in the pizza oven, was very tasty. Entertainment team were fabulous, funny and great at getting everyone involved. Bungalows we had a two bedroom, spacious, clean and beautiful surroundings. Cleaners came in 6 out of 7 days - made beds, emptied bins, swept / mopped floors, cleaned surfaces. 10 minute walk to the centre with plenty to do there. We visited the Dino waterpark, spent 4 hours going on all the slides, we loved this and were glad we booked it. Took my 10 year old son. Only grumble the wifi wasn’t great in our bungalow but used our data. Overall brilliant stay and would go again 👍🏻
