Overton Hotel and Conference Center

My daughter and I went for the first time tonight and Camden M was amazing! I was genuinely surprised to learn he’s only been working for two weeks because he seemed so knowledgeable, quick footed, and ready to serve with a smile on his face. It made our experience so pleasurable. We will definitely be back asking for Camden. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Camden was the best! We were SO surprised it’s only his second week. He was very attentive, quick, and personable. MVP!!!!

Great food. Great room. Great service. Emma T was a perfect server. She went above and beyond. We had a big group but everything went smoothly at dinner. The Overton delivered once again.

We ate at the Pecan Grill and the food and drinks were great. Emma T was the best waitstaff we have had hands-down. We’ve eaten at the restaurant many times and Emma was extremely attentive with a large group and didn’t miss a step.

Nicest hotel in Lubbock. Hotel could have a little higher standard as to cleanliness for first impressions rugs in entrance were stained and dirty, windows on outside of rooms were dirty which I feel made it look like it is starting to look run down. I enjoy watching the sunrise and sunsets so that was important to share for me. I want to look out a clean window. AC units do not seem to cool very well, I have stayed there multiple times and had same issue in different rooms, it is a more upscale looking hotel so I feel like if those issues were addressed it would be such a better experience for customers and really reflect how nice the property is. A lounge/bar would be nice to have also. Overall love the decor and atmosphere truly reflects the West Texas vibe.

TXAPA had an excellent experience at the Overton Hotel! Eli was a one-man wrecking crew — he truly can do it all. He accommodated extra guests we didn’t anticipate and made sure there was more than enough delicious food for everyone. The service, professionalism, and hospitality were outstanding. We’ll definitely be booking our next meeting here soon!

Came here for a work trip and loved the hotel and staff! Great area to stay in and Andrew Ramos was so friendly and helpful!
