"The Overton is where it's at!"

The Overton is now an icon of Lubbock. Its location is convenient to all things Texas Tech and the social atmosphere is superb. Don't miss out on their weekend brunch! Joe at the omelette station is SUPERB!

I had such an amazing experience with Overton bar! From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, professional, and made everyone feel welcome. The drinks were made perfectly, service was fast even when it got busy, and their energy honestly made the whole night more fun. IYou can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a bartender who’s talented, attentive, and creates a great atmosphere, I highly recommend it! I believe his name was clay. He was very sweet. The night was excellent and amazing.

Excellent location with easy access to the college and the surrounding entertainment. Rooms are always clean and well maintained. Staff is especially friendly. A great place to host a conference!

"Hotel needs upgrades or new maids."

Check in was great and fast. When I got to my room I immediately thought, “Did they give me a key to someone else’s room?” They confirmed they didn’t and I was looking at everything. The bathroom was not cleaned very well. Tub was dirty and they really need clean the light fixtures. For this type of hotel I expect better. Spider webs, dead bugs and rusty. Beds are so uncomfortable. Mattresses really need to be updated. The chef in the restaurant needs to learn how to cook a steak. It was sent back to home a second time and when it was brought back to me I still couldn’t eat it. Manager knew the issue, a $50 6oz steak should’ve been eatable or my meal should’ve been comped.
