Der Transfer zur Insel / zurück zum Flughafen auch mit privat Boot Buchung ist chaotisch. Mindestens plus 1,5 h einplanen. Das hat das Urlaubs Feeling sehr zerstört, insbesondere wenn man einen Flug erwischen muss. Kein echtes all inclusive: Zu den Essenzeiten sind Getränke umsonst. Außerhalb müssen diese gekauft werden. Qualität des Essens: Leider nichts besonderes. Für Menschen mit Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten ist die Unterkunft nicht zu empfehlen. Auch wenn man im Vorfeld Kontakt aufgenommen hat ob auf Gluten und Laktose Rücksicht genommen werden kann, musste dann bei jeder Bestellung mehrfach beim Personal nachgefragt werden oder es wurden nicht auf der Karte beschrieben Kreationen gekocht. Das Personal war jedoch immer sehr hilfsbereit. Gerade das Frühstück war unterirdisch. Die Waren waren für den Zeitraum ungekühlt. Nach 1 h war entsprechend die Milch für den Filterkaffee schlecht.

In our opinion, the hotel is located on one of Fiji's most beautiful islands. It's a hotel with a lot of potential, but to be in line with the price, it needs a good amount of maintenance. The current state of neglect is unacceptable: broken faucets, bathrooms by the pool that are pathetic, and a boutique with only a few items (it would be better not to have one at all). As for the staff, they were wonderful—all incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to lend a hand to ensure a pleasant stay. The special transport airport to Sereniti at 21,00h at 585 FD extra is very very expensive for this arrive time. Remenber that paid another 580FD for normal transfer for the boat. Taxi transfer is OK .

Serenity Island was absolutely the highlight of our Fiji trip. The staff were so incredible and they really made it feel like a family. They were so welcoming, kind, and helpful. The island was simply stunning! I have never experienced anything quite like it. We had so much fun with the free snorkelling, kayaks, and paddle boards. We also loved swimming in the pool and the ocean. The food was yummy, and all things considered - well priced! The mango juice is delicious, absolutely recommend. The activities that run everyday were so much fun and so engaging. Fish feeding, turtle feeding, Fijian cooking lessons, coconut bowling!! it was all incredible. The room was beautiful. The view out of the front door of the ocean was to die for. It was truly serene. (Always important to note - the Wifi was great!)

The overall vibe was a bit flat for us. The boat transfer felt quite pricey for what was only a short 20-minute trip — we’ve done full-day island tours with meals for less. Unfortunately, one of us also got food poisoning during the stay, and when the TV stopped working, no one came to check or repair it. Basic amenities like water were also quite expensive ($6 each), and you had to walk to the bar to get it — or pay an extra $10 to have it in the room, since the tap water isn’t drinkable. The food was pretty average and the pool area felt a little tired, though the accommodation itself was lovely and the views were absolutely stunning. It really does have a lot of potential, but after staying elsewhere, we were left feeling a little let down. The staff accommodation area actually sounded much livelier than the main resort. If you’re after somewhere very quiet and don’t mind simpler food, this could be the place for you. For us, it just didn’t quite match the vibe we were hoping for, and the slow checkout (nearly an hour) made leaving a bit frustrating.
