Beautiful room and garden area! Loved our stay, very convenient location 5 mins walk to Byron city centre

The hot tub was a huge winner. Superior suite was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Location and access was awesome.

Only one small thing, the cordless lamps on the side of the bed didn't work.

The lodge itself has a modern fit out. The room I was assigned was comfortable. The bed linen was of high quality, and the bed was comfortable. The (translucent) glass box bathroom design is unique. It was difficult to access the double hung window to open it for fresh air access, as the bed was pushed hard against the internal sliding shutters. There is free on-street parking in the next street (approx. 170m away).

There was no bath towel in my room, so I had to fetch a towel from the common cupboard. There was leaf blower used before 10am on Sunday, by the house at the rear of the lodge building (on the same site); it seemed that they decided to clean the leaves from their pathway that ran beside my window, which meant that I could not hear my own media playing. The people living in the house behind the lodge use a walkway that runs beside the windows of Room 3, and when they returned later in the evening their whole conversation could be heard inside, even though the window was closed. The traffic noise on Shirley Street can be heard inside the bedroom. The exhaust fan in the shower was very loud and rattled, so it probably needs maintenence.

The suite was really lovely. A pleasure to stay there and we will have no hesitation in recommending it to friends.

Nothing could have been done better.

I called the hotel specifically because I wanted a romantic getaway with my partner, and we were looking for a private place. I thought the idea of having a spa was wonderful, especially since the person who answered the phone told me that the spa was exclusive to our room. As soon as I arrived, I found that the “spa” was actually located in the middle of the walkway leading to the room, with other guests able to use the area and look directly into it. there was absolutely no privacy.

Lovely room with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Staff are lovely and responsive. Location is great and less than a 5 minute walk into town!
