Hotel Park Side Hiroshima Peace Park

The Parkside Hotel is in a really great location for tourist activities. However the Hotel itself is quite old a bit grubby. The service was quite bad and we were very disappointed at how rudely we were treated after many weeks in Japan with the people being very lovely!

Very affordable (less than $100AUD). Great location close to the Peace Park and premier shopping district of Hiroshima. Friendly and attentive staff. Good, but smallish rooms with writing desk and plenty of space to store luggage. Comfortable beds and a good shower.

We stayed here as a family of 4 adults for one night to see the sights in Hiroshima. Very easy to walk to everything as the hotel was so close! The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, a decent size and had everything you would need in a hotel. The shower was also brilliant, very powerful. This was also the first hotel we had visited so far that had access to a washer and dryer, they also provided detergent. Didn’t have breakfast here so unable to comment on that but overall no issues with this hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in a great location. Convenient to the Peace Park, train station and shopping. The rooms are clean but small however out of our 3 rooms one had such a terrible odor we had to ask to switch rooms. The staff was very accommodating and switched us with no hesitation after walking us up to the room to confirm.

Title says most I think. We took the hop on hop off bus from central station and had to walk a few minutes. Everything than is within walking distance. The hotel was clean and neat. Bathroom was small, a little bit inconvenient. Wifi was fine, but a little slow and not so secure xD. No grounded power sockets, but did have 5v USB charger in the room. (Not there to work anyway, right?) Lots of utilities available which we didn't use. (But felt good to know we could) Staff was friendly and watched our bags when we went sightseeing after checkout. Much appreciated.

Great basic accommodation close to river and bus loop.

The room was comfortable and a good size, and had a view of the river and a sliver of Peace Park. The location was great near many sights and restaurants. We enjoyed the Japanese breakfast buffet one morning. It wasn't available the second morning of our stay, but there are plenty of convenience stores within a couple of blocks to get food. The hotel was generally quiet. The best amenity was the free access to washer and dryer with detergent. The hotel decor, especially the carpet, is showing signs of wear and tear. This did not bother us but is good to be aware of ahead of time.

The staffs are so welcoming and the room is so clean and fresh.
