Hotel Park Side Hiroshima Peace Park

This is a bland, uninspired hotel that is quite dated with staff who were not particularly friendly. On the upside, the location is perfect and it was also very quiet.

This hotel is garbage. The hotel has one elevator to service all 10 floors. The location is great but not enough to save this hotel. The rooms are very small and old. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillow felt like it was as filled with rice. I had to sleep on my sweater. We couldn’t wait to get out. Thank goodness we only had it booked for one night.

Really kind staff. The location is good. Don't hesitate.

Great place to stay, all staff are lovely and welcoming and the location can not be beaten - easy to walk to from the main bus station and just next door to the Peace Park and Museums!

The location was nice and easily accessible by tram and just next to the main shopping street of Hon-dori and the Peace Park. A few Okonomiyaki restaurants around as well. The hotel staff were attentive and the room interior was very nice. However, there is only one very slow elevator in the whole building and it took quite much time to wait during peak hours. Also, the sound-proofing was very minimal.

Small, neat and tidy business hotel in a handy location for free loop bus, or local bus. Close proximity to shopping arcade. Quiet.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the area. The location was good, close to Peace Park. Its about 15 minutes by bus or a 30 minute walk to the main station. There are several bars and restaurants nearby. The river is just a block away. We stayed on the 9th floor. There is an elevator and laundry room (we didn't use it). We did have breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which was an additional fee and traditional Japanese style. Our room had one double bed, desk, chair and small refrigerator. The bathroom was private in the room. Robes, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided. The room and bathroom were mainly cleaned but could be cleaner. The bathroom also had a musty smell which was unpleasant. We were provided with new towels and robes for our second night.

Very good location,close to peace park and shopping. Very good value for money.
