Royal Inn Beach Hutchinson Island

Nice safe location the staff was very friendly and nice, would definitely stay again.

A sun bleached older property that is near the beach and restaurants. Room was clean and nice, while the property itself is a bit run down. Not much else in the area but it's a nice place to stay if that's what you are looking for.

Was charged a destination fee we weren't made aware of. The place looks run down, the bed is sagging, deposit required for pool towels, needs paint, elevators cleaned.

I have been going to this area for 25 years (lived there for 10), stayed at other hotels but never this one. Ana was an Angel, she was amazing and so welcoming. When I reserved the property, it said with taxes and fees my total was about $244, however when we arrived, total was $344. Stayed in Room 305 -One of our beds was completely busted, it caved in like a taco, apparently they have large wood blocks holding the bed slabs and it was knocked out of place. -Floor had a horrible film on it, my socks were so dirty. The entire place had a dirty feel to it. -The shower.....had the worse water pressure I have ever experienced in my life. Water stayed hot, but dont expect to wash hair. Just washing your hands took several minutes to get the soap off -Expect Aggressive mosquitos lol, I am a Florida native, but they are absolutely insane on Hutchinson island. -Anything you need is on the island, and prices are reasonable (not hiked up for tourism) -I would stay again but woukd absolutely demand a better room condition

Pool water was not circulating

Checking in was fine. I let the receptionist know could not connect to the internet. The outlets in bathroom did not work. The shower head did not connect with the water, so only trickle water came out of shower head. I understand its a beach hotel but for $200 a night i would like the basics to work.

Ana made it seem like staying with family ❤️
