Hotel Catania Town

When arrived was nobody at the hotel and we have to wait in the street trying to call the hotel number which nobody answer After few hours some one contact me via WhatsApp she tell me a code to open a small safe out of the building and get from there a key to entrance the hotel and the room around 18.30. The first time to clean the room it was wensday after I complain. When I make the reservation I believe that was the breakfast included but they ask 7 euro per person.

Parcheggi non disponibili,se non a pagamento,per via del mercato sottostante,quotidiano,porta di ingresso scorrevole,non funzionante(forzata?)finestra della stanza mal richiudibile , rumore idraulico non meglio precisabile ma continuo , colazione a base solo di prodotti industriali.

where to begin they tried to over charge us by 150 euro resulting in me calling bookings to confirm my price and still it was argued but I only paid quoted price in the end but very rude and ignorant with us. Free toiletries is an absolute joke a bar of soap the size of your thumb and 1 tiny shampoo and conditioner NO kettle in the room as stated on booking. right over a daily market that starts setting up at 5.30am. no one in reception from about 11.00 am onwards.

A localização é boa, perto de muitas coisas. O café da manhã é bem simples mesmo. A recepção foi tranquila. O banheiro tinha um cheiro ruim, principalmente se deixasse a ventilação funcionando. Quarto com ar e tv.

Do not stay in this hotel if you can help it, from them trying to overcharge us by €150.00 euros to the lack of customer service and smart comments I would not advise people to stay here. In the end I only paid what I had booked for through Bookings.com but the Director and Receptionist tried to insist that a twin room is only for one person despite having 2 guest confirmed on the booking. This was only paid for after I had to call Bookings myself as the hotel conveniently could not get an answer !!! There is no kettle in the room as is advertised. Do not believe that that there are free toiletries as there was a bar of soap the size of a thumb to shower with, photos below will show. Room is dated and bathroom could do with an upgrade. A market is outside the hotel and each morning set up starts at 5.30am. The only positive I have is the location it is central to all the sights you may want to see. Its not very clean and smells not too pleasant. If I could give a zero rating I would

Buon Hotel familiare - solo 7 stanze - con ottimo prezzo in centro a Catania. Camere con aria condizionata e pulite.

Market under widows every day atound 5 am wake up. Not frendly staff. Not cleaning 4-5 days. Ask always towels change. Not happy about any service. Di not speak or understand english. Ask always cash for coffee 3 times expensive .never usrd breakfast. Just go to cafee across 2 min. City tax asked to pay in cash 3 euro per night and person . But city tax is 1.5 euro we found out.
