Good location, wide range of sports facilities. Cafe and conference/meeting facilities too. Lovely big room with sofa. Staff were amazing - nothing too much trouble.

I have recently stayed at the Village Hotel in Bromborough. From start to finish it was a faultless stay. My room was very comfortable and immaculate, and furnished with everything l required. The buffet breakfast was very tasty with a very good selection of hot and cold options. All the staff members l had contact with were very helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Use of the gym / pool facilities was included with my stay - so after such a hearty breakfast l thought a visit to the gym was needed 😉. It was very well equipped, a great selection of up to date equipment, live tv, nice and airy, very clean and friendly gym staff were on hand. The hotel had a great Starbucks with comfy seating and a TV bar lounge / restaurant. A great stay all round with everything you need in one place. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend.

Really unhappy with the aftercare of the village hotel. I was charged twice for a meal and can never get through to the bar and keep getting passed around with no resolution. Email addresses also don’t work. Literally robbing customers. Be careful when paying by card.

Breakfast was ok depending on timing. Good when it comes out fresh but deteriorates under the lamps after a while. Staff were very friendly. Room really clean and well equipped

Not just this hotel but typical all over Britain. 30 degree day and no Aircon. Not the hotels fault but room fan would have been a bonus

The location is very convenient for me. Bar is excellent as is the Starbucks. Not used the gym facilities so not fair to comment.

My room was very tired. The bathroom needed a serious makeover, rust stains in the bath, black mould on the grouting. The wall by the loo had marks on - needed a deep clean.

I stayed over with friends as we were attending a wedding nearby . The hotel is in middle of some refurb during our stay but this did not affect our stay at all . The staff were really friendly from check in to check out. My room was on the first floor and handy for the lift . The room was modern with good decor. It wasn’t the largest room but adequate for one or two people . There was a shower and bath , large comfortable bed , storage for clothes , hairdryer , iron and ironing board provided and tea/coffee making facilities . There was full length mirror which was handy with plenty of sockets near by . Sockets also in desk area and beside bed with USB points also . Large tv on wall . Roller blind on window worked well . It was a very hot weekend and the there was no air conditioning in my room which was a standard room , and no fan provided so was quite warm, but I probably could have asked reception for one . There is a Starbucks within the hotel and also bar and grill and the food served here was delicious and could see was cooked fresh and didn’t wait too long . Breakfast was buffet style and once again delicious with plenty of choice . The hash browns were amazing. Bar prices not too bad . Bar was large with plenty of seating and had a great set up if you wanted to watch the match . I would recommend and would stay again . There are quite a few steps up reception from outside but there is also a ramp which was useful .

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was excellent - with all the facilities you need for a good stay. The breakfast was excellent- a wide range to choose from. Very comfortable bed, so slept well, can’t fault it! Thank you.

Our daughter's wedding reception and evening was held there and everyone had a brilliant time The food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. A good time was had by all

We had a 3 night stay at The Village Hotel, Bromborough, Wirral. Upon arrival the reception staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. Our room was immaculate and very modern. We had a meal in The Pub and Grill. It was tasty and good value. The service was prompt. The breakfast staff were friendly and efficient with one waitress (Vicky) in particular going out of her way to provide information, at one time I dropped a knife, she straight away, picked it up and replaced it with a fresh one, all with a smile on her face. She was professional, bright and bubbly throughout and is a credit to the hotel. We attended a wedding reception and party. The room layout was perfect with nothing out of place. The staff that waited on and worked behind the bar were friendly and efficient. In the evening event the bbq was terrific. The atmosphere created by the hotel staff was amazing and helped the overall enjoyment of the day. All in all a very successful stay.
