We had a wonderful stay at the Port Douglas Retreat! The location is fantastic—just a short walk into town, yet quiet and peaceful. Our room overlooked the pool area, which was especially beautiful in the evenings with the tiki torches lit—such a relaxing atmosphere. We really appreciated having a kitchenette, which made it easy to prepare our own meals and feel right at home. A great place to unwind and enjoy everything Port Douglas has to offer. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent location, very nice owners and great apartment! The outdoor area was fantastic!

The AC was a little old and not the most functional. Also the extra rental for the pool towels could have been included, but these are just two minor points. Overall still a great stay and would come back again!

Stayed for 9 nights Dec/Jan. The location was terrific short walk to everything. We stayed in a studio apartment overlooking the pool which was lovely, got lots of use out of the pool. Being a resort of studio apartments there were no children so it felt like an Adults Only resort but without the big price tag! Managers David and Joyce were a pleasure to deal with, nothing was too much trouble.
