Quite authentic.

Should have told us about the cat. Cat was not offensive but my husband has serious allergies. Fortunately, we survived 2 nights. A TV would have been nice.

"Spooky place rude service watch your belongings"

We stayed here before and its location cant be beat and everything the first time was great so i wanted to go back. But then…..

The owner told us we were supposed to choose breakfast if we wanted it or not not true at all he was very unprofessional about it and the whole point of a bnb is breakfast in the morning so he tacked $60 onto our bill for the 2 mornings we had breakfast. After that he accused my husband of locking out the other couple and he had to come in the middle of the night to let them in. The second night my husband was out on the porch smoking and the dead bolt locked him out he thought I did it nope not I just the crazy house with its spooky music weird inn keeper and a howling cat that knows when the spooks are playing. My suitcase was rifled through and he made us switch bathrooms for another couple who could just as easily used the one outside their door. Loved this place the first time but 2 years has taken a toll on it and the inn keeper. We wont be going back.

"Not a B&B"

it was close to downtown. easy to walk. Liked learning about the history of the house.

The indoor cats were unexpected and there was cat hair and dust bunnies in our room. We were disappointed that we were not provided a breakfast. even though advertised as a Bed and Breakfast.

Chris is a great host. The rooms are nicely appointed and look of the period. Breakfast was delicious, and it's always great to spend the evening with CeCe the cat.
