Cobwebs and dust needs cleaning

My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay at the Garden House B&B. Chris was very communicative for our check in and gave us a lot of the history of the house as well as tips for the area. That was particularly helpful as we'd never been to Hannibal. The house was very clean, the semi private bathroom was in great condition, the bed was so comfy and we were even given bathrobes! We had breakfast 2 days and Chris is a wonderful cook. We hardly used the car as most of downtown Hannibal is just a few blocks away. They are very up front that the house is home to a couple cats, one of which was our little shadow for the weekend. They are very sweet and caused us no issues, but it's something to be aware of. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay!

Overall stay was great and the host chris is great aswell nothing bad to say about any aspect of our stay!

A brilliant and iconic property.

It is a very old 1800's house. It is not updated, but I can respect that as well. The TV's are old, but we were not there for TV, If you research this house and its history you will figure out why we were there. The accommodations were nice. The front porch had cats from the neighborhood, but again I didn't care. The one cat inside was friendly and non bothersome. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again.

Very unique and beautiful old property with great history. Chris, the host was very welcoming and gave me a lovely run down of the history and some places to visit in Hannibal. Really comfy bed and nice cooling system, which was perfect as it was really hot outside.

A haunted 130 year old house with a homemade breakfast? Hell yeah! You should expect to be in a historical house. The water takes a long time to get hot. Dust happens. Floors don't stay straight after that much time. The cat is so welcoming. Loved it. No better value around!

Chris was very gracious. And he truly is a chef! The breakfeast was amazing. Very comfy and cozy with a touch of fancy!

The location is close to downtown. Chris the owner is very nice and informative.

Stray cats are being fed on the front porch. It is not being kept clean so that is unpleasant. The cleanliness of the room we stayed in was adequate but could have been better. He also has an indoor cat (not a problem for me) but not really appropriate for most quests. It should be mentioned in the listing about the cats.
