Garden House Bed and Breakfast

Location and price.

Disappointed that the bathroom was shared with the room next door. Overall, the house was a bit neglected, e.g. flower pots contained dying plants, front entrance and walkway not swept. garden not well maintained.

Fantastic historic home, authentically furnished and absolutely gorgeous. The owner is quite knowledgeable about the history of the entire area and is very personable. Breakfast was fantastic.

Everything was fine. The feather bed was an experience that made me appreciate my own bed, but how many places can you actually sleep in a true feather bed? I'd do it again.

Nice host, solid breakfast, great location.

Small, dark room. Bathroom had to be shared.

Easy walking distance to main street Hannibal, good breakfast, good value in an otherwise pricey tourist town.

Pillows were lumpy, didn't like sharing the "jack and jill" bathroom.

Delicious! Good company and host Chris very entertaining.

Beautiful old home with lots of history. Close to downtown Hannibal. Our host was very nice and served us a good breakfast. Coffee was excellent!

Lots of steps outside and inside property. Rooms are small but very clean as is the shared bathroom.

La ubicación y el vecindario excelente. El anfitrión fue muy amable y estuvo pendiente a nuestra llegada (una hora antes del check in) por vía texto. Siempre disponible a responder a los mensajes de texto o llamadas telefónicas.

El lugar está sucio en términos generales, aunque la ropa de cama las toallas olían a limpio. Un baño bien pequeño para compartirlo con otra habitación. Los artículos de aseo disponible son mínimos. El televisor era antiquísimo, pero como quiera, no estaba en funcionamiento. Pensé que el desayuno estaba incluido, pero al llegar nos indicaron que no lo habíamos seleccionado en la reservación, pero nos dieron la opción de añadirlo. Después de ver las instalaciones, nos alegramos de no haber seleccionado comer allí.

This was our second time staying here. We used hotels.com to book this time and did not know we had to request breakfast. But there’s a great coffee shop just a couple blocks away, so it was not an inconvenience. We love staying at this B&B. Chris, Scooby, and the cats are great! Will definitely stay next time we’re in Hannibal. Thanks again Chris
