A haunted 130 year old house with a homemade breakfast? Hell yeah! You should expect to be in a historical house. The water takes a long time to get hot. Dust happens. Floors don't stay straight after that much time. The cat is so welcoming. Loved it. No better value around!

"Passable"

The location is close to downtown. Chris the owner is very nice and informative.

Stray cats are being fed on the front porch. It is not being kept clean so that is unpleasant. The cleanliness of the room we stayed in was adequate but could have been better. He also has an indoor cat (not a problem for me) but not really appropriate for most quests. It should be mentioned in the listing about the cats.

"Friendly Wonderful Bed & Breakfast!"

10.0

We really enjoyed the host making our “check in” truly unique by sharing a lot of the history and character of your landmark home. We decided to skip the breakfast part of the Bed & Breakfast and enjoyed breakfast with “the locals” at “the Diner” recommended by our host. We really appreciated our host’s recommendations for a variety of quality “local” amenities. My wife raved about our “feather bed”again and again on our trip back home:-)

"A charming stay"

10.0

The ambience and host are charming. Everywhere in the place was filled with character.. the location is convenient to walk to all the area attractions. The home cooked breakfast was excellent.

I love cats but I am allergic. Cats are both inside cats and outside cats. The stairs were no problem for us.

"I would not recommend this B&B."

5.0

The furnishings were fitting with the Victorian building. The bed was comfortable. The Interior was clean

The front porch entry way was full of cat hair and cat food. Their out door cat had sprayed the area and the smell was foul. The whole porch was discussing and gave me a very bad impression. The air conditioning in the bedroom is difficult to control. I would either wake up too cold or too hot. It was requested that the widows not be opened.

Seemed like property needed more staff. Gardens were weedy. Loose railing by front stairs. Cat debris on front porch. Host was very nice but there were "loose ends".

CC the cat was very friendly, and so was Chris. The house and location are likely the best in Hannibal.

The toilet was pretty low and small for me but that's not uncommon even in modern hotels. The overall great experience and location of the historic house and town overshadow this minor inconvenience.
