Grand Riviera Princess - All Inclusive

I like the ambiance, creative architecture, quality of food and security while in resort. I didn't like the presence of creatures that looked like raccoons (terrifying), the rudeness by staff of the adjoining resort when we went swimming (we had no idea it was another different princess resort located onsite, we were treated like criminals and had a horrible experience), and lastly the guest service agent that checked us in was not professional (charged my card twice because he didn't know what he was doing costing me multiple international service fee on my credit card)

Staff was very pleasant. Although there were some pushy vendors that were annoying in getting us to do excursions. I thought the buffets would be bigger but overall the food was okay. Have the Cooks grill things for you at the grill station, it's good! The scenery was amazing! The pool and the beach were just breathtaking. There are a few wild animals on compound. The Coati was something else. Its aggressive and tries to get into your bags and room, they tell you to leave the porch door locked (not closed) for a reason. Just be careful of that specific animal. The deers, cats and iguanas chilling on the property were pleasant. The Spa is unlike anything i have experienced, its in an outside hut, calming and beautiful. Roberto and Maria did their jobs well! Two of the best massages we ever had. We had fun overall. Again, staff were so friendly, kind and helpful.

Facilities and staff were perfect. Everything was well organized, and beyond all our expectations!!

I enjoyed my stay. Was bothered that nobody seemed to care that the room beside me was smoking, which made my experience less valuable. I feel like the food was mediocre, there wasn’t anything or anywhere. I ate where I wanted to go back for seconds. My arrival was lackluster, I did not feel important. When the first question I am asked is my age and if I’m single or married, for marketing purposes. I was disappointed by the absence of servers in the pool area, verse what I’ve experienced at other resorts. I do, however, appreciate the peacefulness of the resort.

Property is dated. Good was not great. Property was clean. Staff not focused on customer service. Probably would not choose to stay there again.

I didn’t like El Guardado at the front desk when I arrived. It says on line major credit cards accept. I had an American Express. Top of the tops. And they didn’t know what they was doing and got my card froze 3 times I had to keep calling for them to unlock my card. And it took two hours for me to get checked in. And had to just pay in cash. And they charged me an extra $70 to pay in cash because there credit card machine was not working!!! Keep losing signal. Which left me with no money cause I paid for my room in cash leaving me cashless. But the service in restaurants and bars was excellent some of the best people I meet. Even the bell boys and little bus drivers thru out the day.
