Perfect stay and a little Historic area
AC WAS POOR. THE BLIND IN THE ROOM WAS BROKEN. THE POOL WAS CLOSED. THE FRONT DOOR WAS CONSTANTLY LOCKED. THE BREAKFAST TIMES ATE INCONVENIENT. CUTE PLACE FROM THE LOOKS OF IT AND GREAT LOCATION.

I appreciated the staff’s friendly demeanor during the few encounters I had with them. While there were some things that were out of the control of the hotel (loud, inconsiderate guests, a train nearby that ran 24/7, loud traffic, etc.), this was a disappointing stay. Dusty furniture, poor pillow selection, refrigerator that did not work, and lack of daily housekeeping (although I was there for three nights). Trash stayed overflowing, towels not refreshed/replaced, etc. I will not return nor will I recommend this hotel.
A great older hotel. Very quaint and mostly quiet depending on other guests. Lots of places within walking distance.
Nice hotel. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was adequate, but options could have been better. Friendly staff. Excellent location for what we had planned for the weekend.
I reserved a double room with two queen beds because I was traveling with my daughter, but they gave me a tiny single room with one bed. Not even a baby bed fit in the room, so I ended up sleeping on the floor. They said a baseball team arrived that night and had no other room. The building is vintage and lovely, but I needed to rest, and I could not do it.
Great hotel!
When we arrived there was a handwritten sign saying the desk clerk would be back in 5 minutes. There was a number to call so I called it after 10 minutes. Little to no communication during the check in process. Didn’t even tell us where the elevator was. The hotel had lots of repair issues and was dirty. Our room felt damp - humid. There was mold around the air vent. The blinds were closed/broken. There were hospital chairs in the bathroom. The room next door to us was propped open our entire stay, which was unsettling. We were excited about this historical property but it was very disappointing.
