Nice older hotel it’s so convenient fir me right down town the only think I don’t like is there is not much parking
One of the lights was out in the bathroom, mentioned it to Manny & within 2hours, a maintenance man came & put in new bulb. They could have waited til the next day & that would have been fine.
Staff and check in gentlemen were amazing wonderfully engaging Hair ball in shower, dust on bedside tables, non working window shade to left of bed ( room 402)

The continental breakfast was not like I’ve had before at other hotels. It was lacking hot food except for the waffle maker. Needs to have more options.
Property was not as well maintained as it was before the sell of the location to its current owner(s). Even though the hotel is historical in nature the rooms have not been updated in years, the flooring is in need of attention, the furniture in the rooms are in need of replacement, etc.
There was only one person in cleaning staff. Rooms weren’t ready. Some people drove back home after wedding as their room was never made available. Spent around $225 for the room. They could have hired a cleaning service to come in for the day as the hotel was booked. Instead they just lead people on that their room would be ready and it never was.
Very loud hammering, due to construction on the building. starting at 7:30 am. Trains passing by kept us up. Bedding smelt like body odor and needed to be replaced. Bkfst not good. scrambled eggs cooked in crock pot and appeared black n color. Front desk attendant nice.
