I am big on character, and you probably cannot find another place that has more of it. I am sure every room within The Gallery Inn is different, which adds some excitement in coming back; asking for a different room and experiencing the hotel in a different way...

Unique local hotel. Great place to stay. Very close to El Morro, shops, restaurants.

The unique characteristics of it were fantastic. Nothing we ever stayed in before but really glad that we did. Enjoyed ever minute

BE AWARE. This place has no parking lot, so if you rent a car make sure you park at a parking garage. We were never told where to park and end up paying $250. dollars for a parking ticket fine. They only provide 4 spaces, you get a discount if you paid the parking ticket before 30 days except we couldn't paid it last night because they close on Sunday. So we have to pay the whole amount at the car rental. It would have bern nice if the staff would had instructed us in where to park

This hotel is so unique and beautiful. I regret only booking it for one night. If I ever come back to San Juan I will use this hotel again.

The hotel had unique decor. Felt overpriced considering the amenities, quality of the mattress and minimal breakfast (bread and cornflakes). We Paid $300 a night and would choose differently next time

This place is amazing! Wander through the rooms and courtyards abd you’ll feel as if you’ve been transported to Old World Europe! If you’re lucky, you might even catch a private performance of The Steinway Society, houses in one of the six buildings that make up The Gallery In . Make sure to visit The Cannon Club for excellent cocktails and great live music accompanied by one or two of the Inns resident parrots. This is, hands down - my favorite hotel in Old San Juan!

You will NEVER forget this place. If you prefer authentic & unique cultural experiences to just another pre-fab resort with all the conveniences & technology, this is the place. A photographer’s, musician’s, artist’s, naturalist’s, historian’s dream! Like a true 18th c. villa, there are shutters (no window panes) so there no hard boundary between outside and inside. You’ll probably see a moth or other insect. But our room was nice and cool and beautiful! Staff perfecto. Love this place!!!!

OMG, Don't go, it was awful, the hotel is just run down & the area around the hotel is not safe, people try your room door overnight, plus the noise, well !! music starts around 5pm & stops at 5.20am no chance of sleep on a Saturday night. Worse place I've been & if I could of flown out earlier I would have !!
