What an amazing place to stay, and what a lovely people to deal with! I can't praise Beautiful Valley Guesthouse high enough. It's a cute and quaint place to stay at, and it's surrounded by one of the most verdant scenery you'd see anywhere. It's not a modern hotel: it's rustic and thank heavens for that. But the WiFi works great, and that's all the modernity I needed. And don't - do not - forget to eat your free breakfast at the neighbouring Artisan Coffee House. The sandwiches are delicious, the coffee is heavenly, and the people are friendly. I wish I could come back soon.

Beautiful inn with a comfy dining room and living room. Great spot to take day trips. Dining room and full kitchen made it easy to bring home leftovers or carry out. Antiques near by and the coffee shop the inn keepers own was an added bonus.

The shower curtain was moldy and the tub had a big puddle of soap scum at the bottom so they didn't clean it after the last person. Also the ceiling above the tub was chipping away, not very relaxing so i came there for the tub and didn't get to use it or shower

The room we rented was very nice. The bed was comfortable.

Very clean, and quite beautiful; just did not know we would be staying in someone’s house… just felt a bit inhibited.

The property and location are great. It is a very old building like many in the quaint village of Scottsville. They require alot of work, and that is part of the charm. They have maintained the charm along with revitalization of the spaces. We loved being able to walk in the village and have breakfast in the cafe. We watched some fine trout being caught from the stream that runs thru the village. Great experience!!!
