a restored manor house with all the original fittings. Wish we had stayed at least one other night. It would have been worth bringing in dinner and eating it there as it is so beautiful. You must be willing to drive on a one track road in and out. Oban is 25-30 mins away. If you are willing, it is well worth it
With sheep and cattle grazing in the fields beside the house and beautiful hills in the distance I cannot imagine a more lovely setting. Our hosts wonderful and the breakfasta superb. And thank you to our host for the special kindness she showed us when we arrived.
This is not the first time we have stayed here and will certainly not be the last. Such a beautiful place in a gorgeous setting. So friendly and welcoming. What more can I say? Terrific
Fantastic B&B! I am so glad we stayed here and I wish we could have stayed longer! The room was large, exceptionally clean and bright with an amazing four post bed and intricately carved wardrobe. The view from our room overlooked the grass and the sheep! Breakfast was yummy. I loved the smoked salmon. The owners have done an outstanding job.
Such a lovely place to stay with two extremely welcoming hosts. The attention to detail was amazing and they were always on hand to advise about local restaurants and activities. The location next to the river was idealic and perfectly cut off from everyone around.
Tucked at the end of a country lane, you will feel as if you steeped into a Jane Austen novel. Just as you picture a Scottish country mansion to look, this is it. Complete with spacious sitting room, nearby loch, and sheep bleating in the pasture beneath your window. Very modern conveniences, and best of all a delightful hostess. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. This is a good place to just take a day of rest off of touring Scotland to sit and read a book or stroll by the beautiful loch.
This is a beautiful country property. Large room, period furniture including 4 poster bed. Great views and magnificent breakfast. Ensure you download directions first as property hard to find and no phone service in the area. Also you need to travel 20 minutes to nearest pub for evening meal.
Loved it. Would have enjoyed an entire week here.
