The Kenilworth

The hotel staff were amazing nothing to much trouble for them .Rooms spacious and spotless. Close to Metro system Ideal for coast and Central Newcastle

The welcome and breakfast were great. The room was not clean enough - peanuts in the bedside drawer and coffee stains on dressing table. The shower was not very powerful . Pull out bed not made. Not enough towels.

Room was large and plenty of room, apart from the bed - was ok if on 1 side or the other but was 2 single mattresses to make up a double bed and could be felt if I lay in the middle !! Spacious shower. Clean and tidy. Evening food I ordered was excellent, breakfast was different to the menu in the room but ok. Only down side was the stairs to take my dog out as it was the only choice for 1st thing in the morning as the door to the main hotel was locked and emergency stairs was the only exit. I have difficulty with stairs and there is no lift. Very helpful, friendly staff. Good car parking. An enjoyable stay.

Went up for my son's stag party , so didn't really use the hotel services . Bar was ok and room was clean and comfy enough. Great area to stay.

Pleasant stay at an affordable price in a great location.

It was fine, the place grew on me but overall sight was disappointing as the cat park is st the back of the property so never looks as good. The 2 huge motorbikes and van at the entrance didn’t help, as did the incorrect sign regarding reception and our room but being made up for the 4 of us. Area is close to town which was good, b&b located in a busy road. Breakfast was nice, but not a huge selection to choose from. The owners have obviously made a good effort on presentation but bathrooms and cupboards should be left to air before guests arrived as they smelt stale.

Staff very friendly and provided information and directions for local area. Room and en-suite was clean. TV and tea coffee station available in room. Was a very comfortable nights sleep.

Frirndly and helpful staff in a lovely part of Newcastle close to University and city centre. The room was spacious and clean We loved the breakfast! Lots of choice and the bacon and eggs were delicious! Highly Recommended!

It is currently be refurbished so bar and restaurant not open, but room clean and hotel is a convenient location. Staff friendly

Lovely little hotel located 25 Minutes walk from Newcastle City Centre. Jesmond has lots of bars, restaurants and a small Waitrose on the same street as the hotel. Free parking, bus stop immediately outside and Uber so getting about is very easy. The room was nicely decorated, very clean, had a really comfortable bed and everything we needed. Very relaxed atmosphere and everyone was very helpful and extremely polite. Breakfast was great, tea coffe juices, cerial, yoghurts, toast and cooked options available. Had a lovely 2 night stay and would certainly recommend to anyone wanting a quieter location than the City. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
