"Big comfy bed"

Lovely welcome very nice big room at the front of the of the hotel but that not an issue. The menu was limited but very nice food and very friendly. The breakfast was a good size and really good. The bed was very comfy I slept like a tot

"A relaxing stay at The Kenilworth"

A very relaxing mid-week stay in Jesmond, visiting our daughters who live nearby. This was our second visit to the hotel. The hotel was quiet during our stay but it is a very lively area, with several excellent restaurants and student eateries. The Persian restaurant close-by has a meal deal before 7.00 pm - don't miss it! The breakfast is very good, with decent options. Overall the hotel represents very good VFM.

"Dull old hotel with very limited room comfort"

Not very positive. The room was cold and depressing with a dim light and dark interior and nothing modern in the hotel. The breakfast area is very smelly from cooking hot food and there was no ventilation. I asked the lady that help with the breakfast to open the hotel front door to help drive the smell out.

"Functional room but could not turn off heating"

Functional room in an Inn, attached to a pub/bar. It is not a hotel - so the description was wrong - and the room was very hot so the only way to cool it down was by opening windows. Breakfast was good. Not value for money given the lack of comfort...
