The Delafield Hotel

I visited for business and was excited to come back for pleasure. The rooms are large and well appointed, especially the bathrooms with the huge tub and multi-jet shower. We stayed on Wednesday evening and were able to take advantage of the “date night” special at Zin, just a short walk away. My one complaint is that I had to use a towel to block the hallway light shining through the bottom of the room door. Not a big deal for people who don’t need total darkness. It would also be nice if they provided more details on the gym and its facilities - we had no idea if there was a hot tub or other similar amenities and how to take advantage of the various classes offered.

Great place, great service, great food too

Absolutely beautiful property high on a hill, within walking distance of restaurants and town. The rain shower was awesome. The room was great. The furniture and artwork around the hotel was great.

Everything was wonderful. The bed was a little hard for my liking.

Great Hotel and location

I had a decent stay at The Delafield Hotel. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and the room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches. The staff was friendly and professional throughout my visit. The location is convenient and walkable to local shops and restaurants, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. There's an on-site restaurant called I.D. But we did not dine there. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to early morning outdoor construction/machinery noise, but overall, it didn’t take away from an otherwise fine visit.

A quiet, well-appointed, boutique hotel with very comfortable beds in a sweet town. Attached is the fabulous I.D. restaurant with beautiful decor and an inspired menu. We enjoyed the pork empanadas and grilled octopus served by our charming and entertaining waiter, Mike. He took good care of us without hovering and added to an overall delightful evening.

We stayed here for our wedding night, expecting a quiet and romantic end to a special day. Instead, we were kept awake all night by loud construction just one door away. Staff either forgot our room was occupied or didn’t care - no warnings, no accommodations, no follow-up. Between the constant hallway noise and total lack of sleep, it felt like an afterthought, not a celebration. We chose this hotel based on a friend’s great experience, but ours was the complete opposite. Deeply disappointed.

The bathrooms were absolutely incredible, what an amazing experience for the price.
